Room was good, clean and affordable.
We expected that we were supposed to be booked on Days inn(nearer on Niagara falls) not Days inn and suite. It was 2 different locations but the concierge didn't inform us or maybe the hotel details in the trip app is wrong.
Also, we originally booked a 1 bed queen room and we were given a 2 bed queen room.
The hotel is in a good location, with a commercial street outside and not far from the falls. The sanitation is OK. The breakfast is a bit monotonous, just make do with it. The parking lot is also large enough. It is a tour group hotel. A German tour group stayed there during the period.
Question 1, Ctrip shows that the parking fee is 12 Canadian dollars per night. As a result, the hotel said that tax would be added, and it was charged 28.75 Canadian dollars for 2 nights. Is the tax so high?
Question 2, the hotel charged an extra 1 Canadian cent (not 1 Canadian dollar). The reason is to balance their bill. What is this routine? 🤔
