Innside by Melia Newcastle Reviews

We had an incredible stay at Innside. It was very clean and tidy with modern features. Gino’s restaurant downstairs was some of the best Italian food we had in a while. The parmigiana was delicious. The hotel had beautiful views over the river. We would stay again.

Lovely hotel. Very helpful staff. Very clean and quiet rooms. Only one note of caution; if walking to and from Newcastle station, there are a lot of steps to climb.

Outside the window is the bridge and the castle, and the sparkling River Thame, a great place for running

The hotel itself is very nice, right by the river, the room is also very clean, although the shower and wash basin are not in a separate room, but separated from the bed by a partition, but it is acceptable. The hotel is not far from the train station, but the city of Newcastle feels a bit like Chongqing, and many places require stairs. The route given by the navigation from the train station to the hotel requires nearly four floors of stairs, which is very inconvenient with luggage. If you want to avoid stairs, choose to go downhill/climb, and you need to take a detour. The taxi to the train station the next morning cost 8 pounds, for reference.

The room was nice and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is located close to the river, and it was very enjoyable to sit by the window of the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The room refrigerator provides free drinks, which is very friendly to guests. The only downside is that the hotel parking space is too small, and cars that arrive late can only park outside the hotel. The hotel restaurant serves Italian food. To be honest, the quality is average. If it is not for the good view, you don't have to eat in the hotel.

Very nice hotel, right by the river. The waiter specially arranged a room with a view of the bridge for us. Any problems were solved promptly and the attitude was very enthusiastic. The restaurant was also good and the Italian food was amazing.
