Maldron Hotel Newcastle Reviews

I stayed here for five consecutive days. The positives were the good breakfast, the convenient location, and the children's breakfast. The cleanliness wasn't great. The lobby carpet was already filthy, and upon check-in, I noticed coffee stains on the cups in my room from the previous guest. I called to have them replace the cups and spoons, but no one came. They remained unwashed for five consecutive days. I briefly considered moving on the second day, but decided against it and borrowed a few paper cups from the restaurant. The room was small, probably not as spacious as a 22-23 square meter room. I later moved to Hampton Inn in London, which was also 22 square meters, but much more spacious than this one in Newcastle. My little genius forgot the phone watch cord in the room. I tried to email the hotel to have it shipped to London, but they didn't respond. All in all, it's a decent stay, but don't go in with high expectations.
