Iroha Grand Hotel Kintetsu Nara Ekimae Reviews

One word. Perfect. This has been by far my favourite place I've stayed on my overall trip to Japan. I had the most pleasant stay here. You can refill your water bottle. The amenities are really good and the location is really great. I really loved the room. Perfect size for solo traveller. And kudos to the staff for excellent service.

Good location , just about 5mins walk from station. The hotel room is quite big.

The worst hotel I stayed in my life A racist hotel They put all the foreigners on low floor and Japanese on high floor Give foreigners rooms without windows or the view is a wall The room they gave me has a musty male body odour smell . They refused to change it saying they can’t smell it. The next day when I extended my room due to flight for one night , the foreigner male staff with curly hair said I can continue staying same room since I pay extra to book same type. But at night when I went down to change the card, the same male stuff said I cannot extend the room and I need to change room. When asked why , he said the room is reserved tomorrow for Japanese guest who wan to stay in same floor. I asked to see the manager but manager pretend he is not in the room. And they cancelled my extension of one night. That staff also told me just go another hotel as they prioritise Japanese guests and will cancel Chinese reservations. If you are Chinese, book somewhere else. Very racist hotel and don’t give them any business. The Japanese staffs like to laugh at Chinese tourists in Japanese (I speak fluent Japanese) so the Chinese tourists don’t know it, Also they practice selective English with foreigners. They pretend not to speak English and with a blank look . They pretend manager not around all the time but manager is hiding inside and finally came out yelling at me because I won’t leave the hotel asking for him. Disgusting and rude customer service Bonus photo of manager (who hides in the room like a coward) and coming out to point middle finger at me These Japanese bring shame to their country

Cozy hotel and provided us with 2 sets of towels for our 2 nights stay - no room cleaning unless requested due to sustainability. Near the nara station and shopping street just beside. Walking distant or short bus ride away to major attraction. If you rent a car, the hotel has tie up with kaneko motor pool, get the hotel stamp with your parking ticket to enjoy 1,600 yen overnight parking rate.

It was a steal luxury at this hotel during our stay! Looks lush with elegance, the room was bigger than ordinary Japan hotel room and the receptionists spoke perfect English which is not usual in Japan. We got a great offer to shop the nara deer toy at a local shop thanks to the hotel stay. The hotel restaurant offers nice breakfast choice at a reasonable price and we saw it was packed during dinner time too. It is close to both Kintetsu Nara Station and Nara Park. And only 10min walk to Jr Nara Station. Don't forget to enjoy the complementary options of various tea and plum drinks next to the reception

It is very nice hotel ! With a great location ! 5min from the train station …. In a lovely street …. Very convenient because it is “central “ …. Room is not so small (for Japan !) …. Amenities are great …. I recommend for 1 or 2 nights …

The hotel is clean and at a great location. It's very close to shopping & dining, and a short walk to attractions. The breakfast is pretty good. Highly recommend it.

Awesome hotel at an awesome location. Most of the best food and sights are within walking distance.

Very very nice hotel; right off the main walking street (that connects the train station to the park) with plenty of restaurants and coffee places nearby. Very walkable to both the train station and the park. Oh, we got one "Queen double" room and one "Superior Twin" room. The "Superior Twin" room was almost double the cost but like 5 square meters bigger with a small couch, so not at all worth the extra cost.

We had a lovely stay here. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Service was great 👍

More washing machine needed.

This hotel is very convenient and super clean , it worths 5 stars hotel , I will visit this hotel again , Nara park and main streets are very nearby , I will choose it again 😍😍😍😊
