The owner and his wife are very well-coming and eager to help and suggest walking paths in the area. The Tulou itself is very nice and seems to have just one family living here so the place is very very quiet. This place is now dedicated to host tourists so the inner garden is arranged as a nice scenic place with many plants, flowers and ancient things. In the room itself you don’t see anymore you are in a Tulou because everything has been covered. The bathroom is simple style.

This homestay is an ancient Tulou converted into a hotel, offering a unique cultural experience. However, unless you’re strong (no lift) and comfortable with basic facilities, it may not be the most convenient stay. Given its remote location, it’s more about the experience rather than comfort.

Room is good, in a traditional Tulou. Best was to eat with the family for breakfast and dinner.

Nice place to stay amd very confortable.

1. The room has no windows. When I walked in, there was a musty smell. I couldn't sleep all night. 2. The toilet has no dry and wet separation, and the floor drain is super small. The toilet door is broken and very close to the bed. I dare not take a shower, fearing that the water will leak out and soak the bed. 3. The wash basin in the toilet leaks. When I wash my hands with the faucet, the water leaks to the ground. 4. There is no clean wash cup. There is a layer of dirt at the bottom of the cup. It is too disgusting to see. 5. No disposable slippers or water are provided. 6. The pillow cloth is moldy. 7. The quilt is also broken. 8. The room has two doors. The first mesh door has no lock to close the door. It is bare. The remaining wooden door inside is closed with a bolt. It is super unsafe. 9. There is no sound insulation at all. It feels like sleeping in a vegetable market. People passing by knock on the door from time to time. 9. There are many small red spots on my body the next day. 10. I will never come to Zhangzhou again. It is really a nightmare memory!

The bath water has a large amount of water Disadvantages We checked in late that day, and rushed to see the night view of the four dishes and one soup without carefully checking the quilt. When we came back to sleep at night, it was past one o'clock. We found that the quilt cover was not clean and had a smell, and it didn't look like a new one. It should have been slept in by someone before. Because there was no phone in the room, we thought about running down to the third floor to find the boss. Everyone was very tired, so we put our own clothes on the contact area and made do with it for a night. I hope the boss can improve the hygiene. It is busy during the Spring Festival, and everyone understands it, but no matter how many guests there are, they should change the quilt for each guest. This is the most basic hygiene guarantee.

The folk customs are simple and the management is relatively professional. The sound insulation effect of the wooden building is definitely not very good, so light sleepers need to wear headphones.

The actual hotel is just like the photos, with the flavor of Tulou, the room is clean and tidy, and the proprietress is very welcoming.

The room is located in a characteristic earth building that is more than 260 years old. The landlord is very welcoming and the service is thoughtful.

The landlady is very enthusiastic, the service is very good and considerate. The landlady also upgraded our room for free, helped us carry our luggage, made us tea, gave us fruits and snacks, and chatted with us. After we went out to eat, we came back to the store and they made us tea. When we set out the next morning, the landlady also prepared breakfast for us. This was not included in the room rate and was given free of charge. Thank you very much, very attentive. The room was in very clean condition, much better than I expected. In a tourist area, in a house with this kind of history, and at such a cheap price, I really can’t say anything bad about it. I hope the boss and his wife have a prosperous business and good health.

The landlady was very kind and invited us to have tea and chat. She also recommended travel guides that locals know. If you have any needs, they will be provided immediately, just like a family member. The earth building is also decorated in the original ecological style. The service is very good, the sanitation facilities are so-so, and the sound insulation effect is very poor, but I guess all earth buildings are like this, so just feel it, hahaha.
