Mountain View Hotels in Athens

"The hotel is located in the heart of city centre. WeI took airport bus X95 from airport to the final stop at syntagma and vice versa. The bus fare was pretty cheap, 5.5 euros for each trip. But it took one hour to and from the airport. There was a cafe on 7 floor and the view was incredible. The room size was OK for one to two people. Just stayed for 2 nights to explore the city and it's surroundings."

"Good hotel not to far from the city center. Big rooms and good breakfast. Unfortunately the sounproofing of the rooms is not great, you can hear noises especially from the corridors. The elevators are quite slow, and not enough considering the dimension of this hotel."

"LOVED staying at this hotel and would stay again if I were visiting Athens again. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Harris (the manager I think, he was constantly on reception or at the bar area) we were warmly welcomed. We arrived around 11am (check in was supposed to be 3pm but he allowed us to check into our room immediately - and also upgraded us to a beautiful room with a massive balcony. The room was gorgeous and modern and had many lovely amenities including toothbrush and toothpaste sets and lovely bathroom toiletries. There was a fridge with bottled water and the room had air conditioning and the biggest walk-in shower ever. So luxurious and modern. We were also able to store our cases after a late check out. "The most lovely, well positioned boutique hotel. The amenities were brilliant, the rooms beautiful and clean and the breakfast delicious with great variety. The reception staff were always really happy to help and the gym was well equipped with great air conditioning and a lovely personal vibe."

"It is very classic and vintage inside the room! But hotel reception and doorman are very thoughtful and helpful on every guilde to everyone! Breakfast is amazing for traveller like me must wake up by good food’! So It is definitely a standard of 5 star and the location surround by great local cuisines with reasonable price! If you come for city walk for short! This hotel is the best of choice!"

"Very good location, close to everything, only 200 metres to Metro, good for family very roomy and cozy can accommodate up to 4 people with kitchen facilities including cooktop, toaster and microwave etc. the drawback is the shower screen in two panels and can’t close properly so the water will come out though making complaint to reception but can’t do anything due to design defects. However they did change the room for my friends who made a serious complaint with the one panel glass door shower."

"It was in the heart of Athens, so it was close to everywhere. The staff was also very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean and the accommodation was in good condition."

"The room in this hotel is very small because the house is too old. This room is built on an ancient castle. There are glass on the floor of the hall and the door, and you can see the ruins of the underground castle. The room is not big but very clean. You can see the Acropolis at the breakfast on the rooftop. The elevator is very small and can only hold two people. The service is good and no tipping is required."

"This was a great stay for us and our family. The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sights and eateries in Athens and most were within a 10-20 minute walk. The nearby Monastiraki metro station made it easy to get to and from the airport as well. The rooms are nicely appointed with a couple of chairs, work station, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge and TV. The beds were small but comfy enough. Our family had a 2 and 3 bed rooms and we found the 2 bed room was a lot more spacious. The bathrooms in both were small but we appreciated that the hot water came on quickly and there was a small window for ventilation. Our room was quiet at night but our family noted street noise on the lower floors. The elevators were often tricky to catch as they are small but we appreciated it when we didn't feel like the climb to the sixth floor. The amenities at the hotel were good for the price. The roof top patio and bar area was a highlight and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons up here watching the sun set and the lights turn on at the Acropolis. The prices of the bar were inexpensive and they had a good variety of options. There was a sitting room that had tea and coffee midday and they kept it open in the evening so we were able to sit together and talk. They had laundry service, baggage storage and could help arrange tours or car hires as well at the front desk with their friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast at this hotel was very good for the price. They had something for everyone and lots of place to sit. Highlights for us were the Greek yoghurt and the spinach and feta stuffed pastries. They also had mini sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, breads, baklava, croissants, dried fruits, fresh fruits, juices and a coffee machine. We looked forward to breakfast each morning. The hotel provided a good base for exploring and was centrally located. We would say if you're looking to save money and have a good breakfast to start your day in Athens this hotel is a good choice."

"The location is extremely good, just behind the Acropolis. There aren't many people either. It is more convenient to go anywhere. The room is big. There is a balcony with a nice view. Breakfast is very rich. The breakfast environment is also very good."
