Overall very good for private onsen

What a perfect service with nice and kind owners. The owner can pick you up at the bus stop for free if you want. The price of stay was cheap and reasonable and they provide you with Japanese traditional style meal with reasonable prices as well. I would recommend this Ryokan. I wish I could visit this again.

Amazing location and friendly stuff

It is a family-style hotel, different from a chain hotel. It's like living in someone else's house. The location is very good, if you don't want to walk, you can book a car to pick you up. But I like to walk by myself, and it takes about 25 minutes from Kurokawa Onsen. You can see a lot of beautiful scenery while hiking. There is only one convenience store nearby, and it has a cat manager. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again.

Stayed with friends in this ryokan, everything was great. Clean, cozy rooms, mountain view, birds singing under the window. Onsens are great, there are shared ones, there are several private ones. I really liked the private onsen with a cedar bath. There is a bus stop nearby, a grocery store and a cafe nearby. The ryokan also has kaiseki. The hosts are very nice, friendly people. The host met us and drove us. We really enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely come back)

The facilities were good and it was cold when I first went in, but it was very warm when I fell asleep, and the family hot spring was very nice.

We were given an upgraded room, which was very clean, had a private bath, and the owner was very nice. It's about 20 minutes' walk from the hot spring street.

The service is good and the hot spring is OK, but it's a bit old.

It was absolutely perfect with no regrets. I will definitely visit again Next time, I'll try to make reservations for all meals.
