Novotel Marrakech Hivernage Reviews

The hotel was in a quiet location, the pool was nice. Unfortunately our room was very disappointing. In our first room the AC was not working. Maintenance came to fix it, there was a slight improvement but still not great. Then whilst opening the shower door, the door fell off the wall. This looks like it was because the door had not been maintained. This is not what you would expect in any establishment - let alone a 4* hotel. It also had the potential to be very dangerous, luckily I was strong enough to hold the weight of the door before assistance came. The hotel moved us to a new room and gave us a nice selection of food in our new room which was nice gesture although we would have expected more. The AC in the new room worked well so the room change was welcome. Unfortunately, the fridge in the room was leaking internally so we had to throw away food that we were storing in there as it became damp from an internal leak. One of these occurrences we could probably accept but to have three issues with repairing is not what I expect from Accor. The hotel needs serious maintenance!

We had a bad experience with Aicha at reception during our first visit to Morocco. Her rude behavior showed a lack of respect and made us feel we were not treated equally. It felt like racism toward us as Asians. We are human beings like everyone else, and we came to support your hotel by choosing to stay here. Being ignored and treated unfairly was very upsetting. We hope the hotel takes this seriously and improves service for all guests, no matter where they come from.

All good but when first came, the receptionist self busy and i waited long for chek in. And then must self fill form. The breakfest is so good and the service too.

The location is perfect, quite close to all the attractions. The hotel is a little old, shower and bath are tired. Shower gel and shampoo are very basic, sometimes no shampoo were provided. Breakfast is ok, but quite unpredictable - everyday there was lacking something new. Overall - nice value for money, but not really meets expectations from Novotel.

There are insect in the room and couldnt been cleaned. Also, the breakfast is dirty, there are lots of birds directly eating the breakfast and none of the hotel staff care about it.

Well-located hotel. Less than 2 km from the main square.

The room is nice, cost-effective, and the breakfast is good. The service is satisfactory, and the distance to the attractions is not far. It's just that there is no convenience store downstairs, so it's inconvenient to buy water.

I really like this hotel, the rooms are really well appointed with air conditioning or heating and efficient internet. Professional and pleasant staff, restaurant and swimming pool at the top. The best location in Marrakech, in the heart of the Hivernage district. To do and redo for a price much lower than all the other hotels in the surrounding area.

The facilities are old and worn out, the air conditioner is just for show, the bathroom is leaking badly, and the breakfast is even worse because birds are seen eating and pooping and peeing, and no one cares. This hotel seriously damages the Novotel brand!

The hotel is suitable for tourism, with a good location and luxury goods stores around it, and the prices are better than in China. The facilities are OK, the breakfast is rich, but the efficiency of the front desk is too low.

I made a reservation despite the bad reviews. However, I had the same experience as the reviews. The service at the reception was the worst I have ever experienced. Even when I was waiting in line to check in, the staff kept talking to each other and made the guests wait. They don't seem to have uniforms, everyone is casual. I asked for a print job, but the copy machine was broken every day. It's unthinkable that a hotel service would not allow the use of the copy machine. I was charged for check-out even though I had paid in advance, and it took a long time to explain.
