A great location close to Manchester Victoria station loads of bars and clubs and niche shopping. Was here for a music gig the other side of the city but Uber there and back was very easy. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and fun and the morning breakfast was extensive and a good selection of most things. It’s a clean and surprisingly quiet hotel as it’s right on a very busy main road. It’s a budget hotel so not too many frills no fridge or iron but everything worked really well good bed and good shower and for me that’s the main selling factor of a hotel room.

The hotel was clean, tidy, with simple amenities. The only criticisms are that due to the location of the hotel it is noisy as it is located right next to a main road. Also, the rooms can get very warm as there is no air conditioning.

Group of couples/friends for Test Match. Rooms basic - too warm, poor shower ventilation. Pillows high/firm and no hairdryer so a Premier Inn is better on those aspects. They were undergoing a mattress refurb during our stay but Bernadette at reception checked us into 4 rooms already sorted out so we weren't disrupted during our several days., much appreciated. We often book here as it's a great location. Can't speak to the breakfast as a great cafe Off The Press is 2 minutes acroos the road and we love the food and coffee there.

Bernadette Thomas is the best receptionist EVER! First time in Manchester and first concert, helped us find the way using google maps told us where to go for food before hand, was so jolly and lovely and very welcoming

Bernadette gave me the friendliest welcome at the front desk and checked me in nice and quick. It was a lovely friendly welcome to Manchester as I arrived for a work trip. Come to think of it, that was the nicest welcome I have ever had at a Travelodge and I stay in them a lot. Give her a raise! Meeks was super welcoming too at the bar, thanks for making my stay so welcoming. Room was clean, pillows fluffy. Good value. Good service and a smile though makes all the difference.

The room's very high temperature, the very noisy surroundings, and inadequate curtains which did not obscure much light made it very hard to sleep. In addition, the sound insulation within the hotel is poor and the cleanliness of the room was not the greatest (smells, dirty residue in shower, dust)...

Really polite helpful staff, the room is basic and fine for a short stay but unbearably hot and smelt fusty on arrival. To the point where it would put me off ever returning. There is one window which opens a few mm and the road noise was constant so pretty much awful to stay in whilst experiencing hot weather. Unable to turn temperature down in shower so it was stuck on hot too.

Stayed in a Super room, no noise as room was top floor and at the back of hotel. Great location easy walking distance to Co op live. Good breakfast in morning, plenty of selection. Staff friendly and welcoming.
