Stayed at Kota Lodge @ Melaka for a short trip and found it to be a decent budget option in a great location. It's within walking distance to Jonker Street and other main attractions. The room was simple and clean, with very basic amenities provided. Staff were friendly and check-in by whatapp. The hotel is Ideal for travellers looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay in the heart of Melaka.

Overall good. Value for money. Nearby 7eleven, SpeedMart 99, restaurant, carwash, shops and Jonkerwalk c/w Sg Malacca riverside. Charming and helpful staffs.

Customer Support do not working 24 hours and do not have people to handle during mid night, they have number to call, but do not want to pick up the call

I have nice time with my belove wife with best view of the day with comfortable bed and good design

Strategic location

Check-in on dial phone outside with remote controlled lockers for the key was new to me and felt a bit strange. My room (No.9) had a window facing a green open space - lovely. The combined shower/toilet was just left to my door - so convenient. I even had a sink with running water inside my room. Bed was Queen size - a bit soft but comfy.

Beautiful stay about 5 minutes walking distance to Jonker Walk ! Easy Self-check in but my lucky day on arrival, i have been greeted by the staff and get the key by hand .. Lovely staff .. Twin bed prefer since i dont need make up room, i just need to move to other bed .. 😆.. The room is totally clean with a bottle of body wash provided 🤭.. Sleep much comfortable , rest well and quite place ... You can you mug and so on as you wish .. The water dispenser at the lobby , easy to find .. easily find food at Jonker walk , best to go from Friday to Sunday which was crowded with night market .. I am enjoying my stay at Malacca ❤️

The quality of room, bed, decor, etc are quite poor …. Washrooms aren’t attached and broken in many aspects …. Location is bit far from the city centre but manageable Staff are really good and helpful …. Melaka city centre is quite exquisite, calm and peaceful to visit

Good budget hotel. Nearby many attractions. I stayed here almost 3 months. But 1 ex staff from this hotel name nisa the indonesian keep bothering other staff here. I play card outside of the hotel with one of the "Off Duty" staff, she still able to access cctv and keep complaining to the hotel owner. I dont know why. I think this illegal ex indonesian staff try to be the boss

Very clean hotel room with market just outside opened in the morning. Have to walk a bit to find the hotel. Quite near the river

Pros : Location wise is strategic as its at town area. Understand that it’s budget hotel so won’t expect much but at least with a proper washroom. Can see from the picture it din well maintained. Cons : washroom is totally out

For me, overall ok.
