The hotel is clean and comfortable. The location is in downtown that it takes a few mins walk to my exam center.
I have one suggestion that if they can have a small gym room, that will be even better.

It was a place I made an urgent reservation for at night because my flight was canceled, but it was easy to use and the room was warm and nice. The bathroom was very spacious, and the room was also very spacious.
Firstly, the parking is not across the road as the website says, it's a 10 minute walk away! It also doesn't cost £5 a day, it's £14 for over 5 hours, I stayed 2 nights and it cost £42 in parking! The staff are friendly enough, but the hotel isn't overly clean and we found our bathroom full of hair. The manager did offer us a new room - we chose just to have the bathroom cleaned, and refunded a breakfast charge, but other areas of the hotel such as the lift were really dirty. We had breakfast there both mornings and the food was good. I wouldn't stay here again, the location and parking situation are just too difficult.

The welcome was great, the staff member on the check-in desk being very friendly and efficient. The room, as always with Premier Inn, was reliably and. consistently clean and comfortable. The food .... Edible is the best I can describe the evening meal (Wetherspoons would be an upgrade). For me, the worst part of my stay was, despite clearly advertising vegan protein options in their online menu for this hotel, there was no vegan bacon or sausage available. Therefore, the only options (for vegetarians and vegans) in the hot buffet were hash browns, beans, mushrooms and grilled tomato halves. Again, Wetherspoons can do better, and much cheaper! The staff in the morning seemed barely aware of the concept of vegetarianism let alone veganism, so perhaps this hotel is stuck in the 20th century and hasn't realised that the wider hotel community recognises that dairy allergies and vegan/vegetarian needs ar every widespread and easily catered for. An complaint to Premier Inn received a reply that I can only assume was written by ChatGPT, and I was told to call the hotel in advance if I wanted to check specific items were available. Perhaps remove your location-specific menus from your website then eh Premier Inn? The most helpful element of this stay was I can now remove Premier Inn from my business bookings.

Beds were comfy but no hot water for showers so the family had to have cold showers each morning of our 2 night stay. Fire alarm went off 4 times in the morning which woke us all up. Parking is expensive and not close when your a family of 4 with kids in tow and multiple bags.

Stayed several times now and would stay again. Unfortunately room was close to lift and could hear lift motor operating. Also 2 adults booked but only 1 large towel. Why do they do this? Next time I will ask for room away from lift. Did not have breakfast this time, but in the past could not fault it.

I stayed at this hotel for 14 weeks, 4 nights a week, from November 2024 to March 2025, due to a work secondment, and unfortunately cannot recommend it at all. The following are amongst the issues I experienced: •Twice I was given a room without working central heating. The first time this happened, the receptionist was happy to give me a different room. Before me moving my belongings to another room, they wanted to double check that the heating definitely would work in my new room. After a while, they got back to me and said they had checked 6 or 7 different rooms and were unable to get the heating working in any of them. At that point they asked if I was happy to stay in my current room if they gave me a portable heater, which I agreed to. •The second time this happened (room 711) I spoke to the receptionist who offered me the room next to it (712). As they opened the door, I instantly noticed a strong smell of mould and damp. The receptionist was unable to get the heating working in this room as well, and then they noticed that the room had mould on the walls and ceiling. They asked if I was happy stay in my current room if I was given a portable heater which I agreed to. Only as I was getting ready to check out four nights later, I noticed that this room also had mould on the ceiling and net curtains. •Since mid-November when I first started staying at the hotel, until mid-March when I left, there was a sign in the breakfast room to say that “due to global shortages” they were unable to serve pure orange juice and had mixed it with pineapple and grapefruit juice. (not sure how “global” this shortage was; there are several supermarkets – Sainsbury’s, Tesco’s and M&S Food Hall – within a 5 minute walk of the hotel which all had a good selection of orange juices available all this time). The sign, however, was not immediately next to the orange juice jug so was easy to miss. During my first few days at the hotel, I kept drinking this juice at breakfast as I had not noticed the sign. This is something I shouldn’t have done, as I am on medication for high blood pressure and cholesterol, and the label for my medication states that I should avoid eating and / or drinking grapefruit while taking this medication, as it can cause side effects. Premier Inn put my safety and the safety of many other guests taking blood pressure or cholesterol medications at risk by serving juice containing grapefruit as orange juice. For at least four months they were unable to source pure orange juice – how long can it take to resolve a shortage that no-one else seems to suffer from? •The breakfast room frequently ran out of other items, too. •Baked beans were often barely lukewarm, despite me getting to the breakfast room as soon as it opened at 6.30am •It was often a struggle to find clean bowls and mugs •Lifts had persistent problems that the hotel management were unable to fix during the four months I stayed there - the lifts do not stop at some floors. •One night,

Comfortable hotel in a side street just off the town centre. Good public rooms (bar and restaurant) decent-sized bedroom and bathroom with the trademark comfortable bed. There’s no parking available but there’s a big one 5 minutes walk away at the Sainsbury supermarket or a smaller one further up the road past the hotel. It’s a great value option for Maidenhead which is not blessed with a surfeit of hotel rooms. Truth to tell it’s not blessed with much of anything these days so one assumes you have a reason for visiting the place. If you do you could do a lot worse than stay here.

Very Good

There were six of us staying for just one night. We had three twin rooms. It had been a while since I had stayed in a premier inn and found this one to be very good. It is tucked away in the town centre, car parking options are nearby and the shops are a minutes walk away. Although apparently according to the staff the hotel has been in business for 15yrs now, the hotel is in good condition and was very clean. The rooms were comfortable, as was the bed, we were on the 6th floor which was very quiet. Don't expect a view though. We had breakfast in the morning which was very good. All in all this was a good stay, the only thing I could possibly moan about is that there was no anti slip mat for the bath when standing in the bath for a shower.

Having stayed at this hotel on previous occasions, it is sometimes luck of the draw as to if the room is comfortable and maintained or not. Normally we get a fairly good room and have a good night of sleep. Unfortunately, the mattress and 'soft' pillows were fairly uncomfortable, and there were some maintenance issues found in the room. Additionally, the bed seemed shorter/smaller than normal, so my feet were hanging out the end - which has not occurred previously. Disappointingly, the price increased by over £15 in the 24 hours between checking on-line and actually booking the room, so we ended up paying more and getting less. The cooked breakfast was nothing special - hash browns not as crispy as normal, mushrooms not cooked (or cleaned) as much as normal, and tomatoes cooked less than normal. Also fewer fruit options than normal too.

I’m fussy about my room. I’m a light sleeper. Matt on reception was brilliant and so helpful talking me through the layout and options. This meant a lot to me and my room was perfect, as was my sleep Lovely, quiet, clean, friendly bar and restaurant with plenty of room and a nice ambience. Really friendly guy on in there in the mornings for breakfast Bed was so damn comfortable Great location I’ll be staying here often over the next 12 months. I hate being away from home but I feel safe here particularly with plenty of staff around to help me if ever I needed it Wendy Manchester
