The staffs were friendly and the room was clean. It is very close to the tourist spots like plaza mayor.

Really pleasant stay at Hotel Ópera Madrid. The room is cleaned daily to a have standard and had a modern touch with the decor. I particularly liked the window shutters which completely blocked out the light for an afternoon siesta. The only downside to my stay was the loud noises throughout the night, my room was situated on the first floor above a service entrance so there was a lot of banging which distrusted my sleep. However, the location was amazing and is close to the main sites. I would definitely look to stay here again.

Be warned, the hotel is opposite a seedy “24-hour sauna”, where the gentlemen of Madrid like to meet on a Saturday night and party hard. This “Sauna” will be busy with patrons until at least 7am in the morning. Make sure, if possible you request a room away from the 2nd floor, as it is unbearable to sleep next to this noise. Cleaners also start very early on a Sunday (8.30am) and are extremely rambunctious and noisy together. The “sauna”, plus the loud cleaners is not a great sum, to allows guests a comfortable and full nights sleep. Otherwise, it is an okay hotel. Definitely not 4 star standard, as it is tired. The rooms are as clean as you would expect, but don’t expect 4-star quality, more akin to a 2 star. The Dear Hotel around the corner is much better quality, with a rooftop pool, and was where we moved to in the end. Our experience was not satisfactory, but the staff were nice people, although one feels they should have refunded our full stay (which unfortunately, they didn’t)

Was in a perfect location in the center of Madrid. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a little old and the room we got was a bit rundown unfortunately. But overall a good stay.

"One of the best hotels we stayed in!" - our kids said :) and it says a lot beautiful bathtub with bathbombs and jacuzzi big spacious room greta breakfast with big variety of food

There is some dirt in the bathroom and the A/C doesn’t work properly. Also there was a noise.

Very convenient place, jus 3 mins next to Metro. The hotel room is not big, but with a fascinating bath tub in the roof top which can enjoy the sunbath.

Good location. Near opera train station. Easily accessible to places of interest through walk. Near to the chocolate churros san gines place too. Safe to navigate back at night around that area too.

The hotel location is good, easily for access for interesting sights and public transport. Staff very helpful all round. Breakfast was good too, with plenty of nice quality food. Happy to recommend to friends.

This is very very good hotel in the center of Madrid and very good bed and the bath but it’s not have free water or drinks only and thinks for the perfect stay

nice and clean room, the hotel is surrounded by famous attractions, providing opportunities for me to explore and enjoy the local sights.
