I booked a twin room and it didn’t disappoint, the bed was just the right level neither too hard nor too soft. They provide daily cleaning and fresh change of towels. The breakdast is plated and needs to be ordered the evening before. They have a good selection of baguette and choice of how you want your eggs, other Asian breakfast choices are also available like congee or rice noodles. Do note that this property is on the other side of the Xanamkhan river from the heritage area, so it is a bit far from where the main attractions are. But, the guesthouse provides bicycles for rent. This location does offer some advantage, it is in a “locals” area so guests have access to a local market as well as restaurants that serve truly Lao cuisines and at very affordable prices. The property owner is friendly and quite attentive to us guests, he always asks us if we have everything we need and if there is anything they can provide. Considering all, if and when I’ll go back to Luang Prabang in the future, I will definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel is located quite far from the main attractions, there are no shops within a 5-minute walk, and it takes 7-10 minutes to get to restaurants at a leisurely pace. The hotel has seen better days, and here and there you can see signs of wear. The room is quite large, there is a TV, a work area, but everything is old and I really missed the light, the bathroom is also old, there is a feeling that there is mold and a cockroach will crawl out from somewhere, the bed linen is fresh, but not new. Breakfasts are quite meager, they bring a plate of food, which may not be enough for an adult. In general, a one-night hotel for unpretentious clients, if I were offered to stay there again for such a price, I would do it.

The only way to get to the center (night market, temples, etc.) is by a single bridge, and it takes about 30 minutes to walk there.

The owner is nice, and the employees are also kind. The breakfast is delicious, and if you take a boat down the alley next to the hotel and have fun crossing the small river, you will find the night market. I highly recommend it

Overall, good value for money. I like the wooden style and the warmth and security brought by the locked door of the homestay. The price is still very good. The problem is that it is far away from the center, and we rely on bamboo bridges during dry seasons. After the bamboo bridges are gone, we mainly look at the feeder boats. The boats leave very late in the morning, and taxis in Laos are very expensive, which is always inconvenient. It doesn't matter if you rent a car. The room is small, but the hygiene is good. Bedding was torn. Bathroom shower and toilet cannot be separated.

There is a downside to having to cross the river, but it wasn't bad The staff are very friendly, But it's a semi-basement room, so the sunlight doesn't come in, so it feels a bit damp.
