Kip hotel is brilliantly located and double bed very comfy even in a smaller room. Shared bathroom but never any issues limited wait on morning for shower but otherwise always available. Requested a kettle, hair dryer more towels and pillows prior to booking but house keeper forgot so had to wait till shift change to get their items but I arrived at 9.30pm so only waited till 11.15pm for them to be delivered to room. Managed to got free cups of tea by going to reception while I waited. Staff always super friendly and receptionist remembered me from last week which was nice.

This has been my “go to” hotel for staying in in London for the last year. It’s so comfortable, reasonably priced and the staff are so lovely. The location is also incredible and I will be continuing to use this place as it is “my home from home.”

Not satisfied. Check in states 3pm, we were there at 3pm and we were told room is not ready and will be ready in half an hour. On booking we even asked early check in at 2pm, we got a response that it is going to be ready at 3pm, early booking is unlikely. So therefore we were there at 3pm, not even noting our request for early check in, they didnt even let us in at the check in time. We were coming far away and all our plans got delayed, ruined because of this. If you can’t be ready at 3pm, don’t state check in at 3pm.

It was alright experience staying in this hotel. Good location, near and walking distance to shopping area and local restaurants.

Perfect for a night or two! Great location right by Hackney station, clean and spacious room and nice decor! Absolutely amazing lighting managed to get some bomb selfies before going out 👌

Clean room. No tea and coffee facilities in room but can go to reception to get free drinks. Location is plus and a downfall at the same time, Hackney Central station is on the doorstep but unfortunately means loud trains running all night so sleep wasn’t the best. Flip side is that you’re right in the centre so lots of food places/shops etc and good transport links

Excellent location, central to Hackney. Cleanliness was average, pillow and duvet were massively stained inside the case and thin as anything despite asking for extra pillows. The mattress was rock solid, we both had an awful nights sleep. Decent size room & smart Tv a nice touch. Light came through blind, no point having this drawn, woke us up stupidly early

AC was bust so had to sleep in the humid cubicle, convenient location with supplied fan but it did not assist.

The room is small but clear, the bed is single instead of double bed as mentioned on the description, location is nice but sound proof is horrible, kept hearing the room next door walking around or packing throughout the night. Other than that, everything is brilliant.

Junior studio room was very lovely and comfortable. Nice, new and wide bath/shower room. Very convenient location, close to the station and M&S supermarket. Friendly staffs.

Good place for solo traveller. I booked this single room with a double bed, sharing a bath room with other two mates in the same suite. Easy to commute: overground steps away. But I’d say it’s a hotel somewhere between hostel and an actual hotel — each gets individual rooms but compromising some facilities like sunlight, ventilation, common areas. Although each gets independent spaces, sound proof wasn’t so well that I can still hear my neighbor snoring 🥺 But if the price goes well it’s not a bad choice.

Lovely clean, crisp, white bedlinen

We booked for 3 people. 2 adults and 1 child and there was only 2 single beds. The lady at the reception asked for nearly £100 for an upgrade and blamed the website and says there’s nothing she can do to help us. Trip.com was wonderful and offered to pay the extra they ask us back for the mistake. But thanks to the staff that clearly don’t care when a problem like this arises. They supposedly cannot access how many people are on the booking. There’s no hairdryer in the ‘2 single bedroom’ or kettle etc. the room was nice and clean itself, for 2 single people it’s perfect, it does have aircon and a fan which is a nice addition for the summer which not many hotels offer. But don’t offer 3 people to book a bedroom if there’s only allowed a max of 2 people!

Very convenient location next to the Hackney Central Overground Station. The design of the hotel is very modern, bright and clean. The only complaint I have is that those "Cabin" rooms do not have air-conditioning. Only private rooms and hallways do. Hence, it would get stuffy inside cabin rooms in the summer.
