ATTENTION !!! We booked two nights in Ljubana in this accommodation, initially via booking, my card being refused (caused by a cancellation because it had been hacked), I therefore called the owner directly to make a reservation again and so give him a new bank loan. We were charged the amount and even 100€ more which was announced on booking!!! Everything was confirmed, we received a confirmation as well as a link with reservation number, 3 weeks before our arrival. Arriving from Bohinj around 6:30 p.m. and tired of the road, the owner opens the door for us in a very casual way, not really worthy of a welcome. We understand that you need a code to access the residence and our incomprehension seems to bother him. We announce ourselves by giving our name and reservation number. We immediately know from his face that there is a problem! He explains to us that in fact our reservation was not taken into account and moreover that it is our fault! I explained to him that working in the hotel industry the fault was not ours but that it was him who had not closed his room with booking when he took our reservation into account! You will have understood, we are facing overbooking! In the middle of summer when there is very little accommodation in the capital! I explain to him that he absolutely must relocate us! He pretends to call a colleague and explains to us that there is no more room. He explains to me that he will reimburse us immediately and I also understand that he does not intend to make any more effort to relocate us. I show him that there is accommodation on booking and that he must relocate us. Whereupon he refuses, telling me that I am particularly daring to present him with a 4-star hotel! I then ask him to find the same service that he offers! Except that you will have understood that there was nothing left for less than 200€/night. We insist and he refuses and absolutely does not recognize his mistake, he even tells us that it is ours! He offers us his daughter’s ‘small’ room, and tells us that she will go to sleep at a campsite! Very shameful of him! He ends up turning on his heels and running towards the stairs, leaving us stranded, with no solution! Reading the previous comments, I understand that I am not the only one, a month ago someone found themselves in the same situation. Moral of the story, we must be wary of this man and this accommodation. ATTENTION !!!
