The Old Town of Lijiang
Indigo Lijiang Hotel is located just outside the ancient city, offering both convenience and safety for exploring the area. The rooms are impeccably clean and functional, and the gardens, with their meticulously groomed trees, shrubs, and flowers, are a testament to the housekeeping team and the gardeners’ dedication. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly restaurant staff, notably Mike, whose constant smile, helpfulness, and politeness stood out. Special thanks to Cindy, who truly enhanced our stay. She attended to us at check-in and she helped to arrange tickets to the snow mountain and assisted with restaurant reservations. We accidentally left something in our room, Cindy promptly informed us and arranged to send the item to our next hotel. We truly appreciate your kindness, sincerity and warmth, Cindy! We also want to thank Morna who ensured a fast and smooth checkout. Indigo is not just a lovely place to stay; the dedicated team makes it an exceptional experience. We would gladly return!

I have to say that it was a wise choice to choose Hotel Indigo for this two-night and three-day trip to Lugu Lake. The hotel is located in a valley, with the back of the Goddess Mountain of Gemu. The scenery is beautiful and pleasant. Looking at the Goddess Mountain can definitely make you dazed for a whole day.  Let's talk about the hotel. The day before check-in, the hotel front desk lady Cherry contacted me and arranged to upgrade the room. Every day she would give me suggestions for the trip. What touched me was that she didn't forget to greet me when she was resting at home after the night shift, reminding me to travel safely and that the mountain road was rugged and I should go slowly. The next night, due to the temperature drop, she WeChat me to tell me after returning to the hotel and notify the kitchen to prepare ginger tea to dispel the cold🥹, which touched my heart. On the third day, I was going back to Lijiang, and she came and told me to put safety first on the road and give me a response after arriving in Lijiang🙏🙏🙏. I would also like to thank the waiters in the hotel restaurant here, especially Zhu Guoxiang👍
