We recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a decent experience with a mix of pros and cons. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures, and one unique feature was the bathtub in the living area. However, there was no view from our room as it faced another building, which was a bit disappointing. Despite that, the hotel’s location was great—easily accessible and within walking distance of Lijiang Ancient Town, making it convenient for exploring the area. One thing to note is that the hotel has two large dogs in the lobby, which some guests might find friendly, but others may not be comfortable with. Communication was another challenge, as the staff did not speak English, so we had to rely on Google Translate for conversations. Regarding amenities, the hotel does not provide regular towels, but they do offer disposable towels, which was fine for us. A big plus was the in-room washing machine, which was very useful for washing light clothes during our stay. On our last day in Lijiang, we faced an issue booking a train ticket to Dali through Trip.com, as it showed no availability. Fortunately, the host, Michael, went above and beyond to help us find alternative transportation at a cheaper rate, which we really appreciated. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for its location and amenities, but be prepared for language barriers and a lack of scenic views from some rooms.

Our recent stay at the Huang Garden Inn in Lijiang was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the hotel's charming architecture that perfectly captures the essence of the ancient city. The building's design is a beautiful homage to Lijiang's rich history and culture, offering a picturesque and authentic experience. it is situated very close to north gate and the grand water wheel. The service at Huang Garden Inn was impeccable. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We were particularly impressed with the heated bed in our room, which provided a cozy and warm retreat after a day of exploring the city. Additionally, the owner can speak English and extremely helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was located inside Lijiang Ancient Town which is one of the most popular tourist spots in the city of Lijiang. The Hotel Manager Mr Wang Linfeng was very very helpful. Since the hotel was located inside the ancient town and vehicles were not allowed inside, all the luggage’s had to be hand carried or with the help of a porter available at the entry of the street. Mr Wang made sure we got parking spots on all three days when we were there and also luggages were taken to the hotel time to time. I would like to give a special mention for the Service which Mr Wang provided. He’s indeed an asset to the hotel. Keep up the good work. 🫰🏼

20/10 stay!! I cannot recommend this place more. 1. Location. It is on the brightly lit main street so no worries about safety! Easily walkable from the main entrance as well (7-8min). The place offers luggage pick up services as well, so don't need to lug to the place yourself. 2. Friendly and helpful staff. Honestly, the minsu boss is the best. She was helpful and friendly and took care of me as I am a solo traveller!! Overall, room was clean and well decorated. The two doggos are absolutely adorable and friendly. The place was well lit. I really cannot recommend this place anymore. I will be coming back to this place the next time I come to Lijiang!

This time we took an old and a young person out and strolled to Sifang Square. We were lucky to meet Hongshe. Hongshe met all the needs of the three of us and was very cost-effective. First: clean and tidy. We stayed for a few nights and saw that the boss arranged a one-to-one change for each guest, which was great👍 Second: complete facilities, air conditioning, electric blankets, TV, Internet, and most importantly, hot water is hot enough. The temperature difference between morning and night in Lijiang is large. The most feared thing when taking the elderly and children out is catching a cold. There is no need to worry at Hongshe. Third: The duplex room is unique, which the child likes very much. She occupied the upper bunk early and jumped up and downstairs. Fourth: Convenient transportation. The elderly were tired and couldn't keep up with our pace. The location of Hongshe was very convenient for her to identify and go back to the room to rest. After resting, she went to the square downstairs to walk around. There was food and drink, so we didn't have to worry about it. Fifth: The boss is very nice. He solved all our problems very quickly and patiently. He helped us carry our luggage, got takeout for the elderly, called a taxi for us, extended the check-out time so that the elderly could rest more in the room, and the communication was very smooth. Sixth: There is a terrace at the door of the room, where you can sit and bask in the sun and overlook the ancient city, which is very comfortable. I booked a king-size bed room when I traveled alone, which was quite affordable. The hotel is in a good location, less than 100 meters away from the road, opposite the South Gate of Lijiang Ancient Town, and close to the bus station. You can take the special line directly from Zhongyi Market Station to Yulong Snow Mountain, and walk for about ten minutes. The environment is good. Although it is close to the road, there is no noise at night, and it is very quiet. The room is big enough for two people, and it is comfortable for one person. The facilities are also relatively new, the decoration is tasteful, and the overall style is very elegant.

The hotel is very close to the airport. The proprietress was very enthusiastic. She was worried about our altitude sickness and gave us oxygen cylinders. We lived very comfortably. The key is that the price is really affordable, too affordable. The bathroom is very big and the bath water is really good. It is worth it.

When I came to Lijiang Old Town, I couldn't have made the right choice to choose this inn. The newly opened inn this year has a unique location. It is located in the ancient city. The quaint streets are right outside the door, as if you have traveled back to the old time in an instant. There are many specialty shops and monuments in the surrounding area, allowing you to fully experience the charm of the ancient city. The service in the store is first-rate, and any questions raised can be solved by us with all our efforts. The facilities and equipment in the room are fully equipped to meet all your accommodation needs.

Environment: The environment is very good. There are places for sightseeing and leisure on the first and second floors. Full marks Hygiene: No dead corners in hygiene, very clean and tidy Facilities: The facilities are very advanced. The smart toilet will automatically heat up. There are also smart curtains. You don’t have to draw the curtains manually. You just need to press a button. I like this very much. Service: The boss's attitude is very good and enthusiastic. He gave me a flower cake when I stayed for one night. It is also very close to the ancient city. You don't have to drag your suitcase into the ancient city. It is very convenient. You can take a taxi directly to the door of the homestay without having to walk too much. But I forgot to take a picture of the hotel’s interior, which is exactly the same as the picture, so please refer to the main picture. I give this B&B a full score overall. The hotel is really good, it is close to the main road. Room is warm because it has floor heating. The design is cute and warm. It feels like home and experiencing local. The atmosphere of the house is bright, it makes my day. And i should mention this, the service is superb. The lady boss is super nice, she helped me booking tour to shangrilla and yulong mountain on last minute, super helpful. I came to lijiang without any idea how to book all the tickets yet she managed to get me all the tickets. And she made sure the tour and tour guide took care of me since i am a foreigner and cannot speak any chinese. She willingly took me to the pick up point early in the morning. She also gives me food recommendations + maps!
