The hosts treated us like friends/ family. We were invited to their dinner and had great fun with their guests too. Staying here is like home so comfortable. The homestay is near to the main road and easy access to the tiown. They will help you transport your luggage is a plus point for old people like us. Breakfast is also well prepared. We will definitely come back again if we do visit Lijiang in near future.

The hospitality is absolutely great for this hotel! It is located strategically where you only need a few mins walk to reach the hotel. Also, this hotel only has 6 rooms where the owner will help you with everything. They even help you to carry the luggage from check in to check out, recommend places for you to go, bring you a room tour, prepare breakfast for you based on your needs. The owner said that this hotel is specifically designed and well planned amenities. A very comfortable stay for me and my wife! Hope we could stay more days! This hotel was an absolute delight to stay at. The design is cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully put together, creating a clean and relaxing atmosphere. The room was spotless and very comfortable. What truly made our stay exceptional was the incredibly kind and accommodating owner. He generously upgraded our room for free, which was such a pleasant surprise. Since we had an early schedule the next morning, he even prepared fresh milk and bread for us the day before, which was a really thoughtful gesture. On the day we checked out, we had to leave very early again, and the owner kindly woke up around 6 AM just to help us with our luggage. You can really feel the genuine care and warmth here. It’s rare to find such hospitality, and we truly appreciated every part of our stay. I highly recommend this hotel – it’s not just a place to sleep, it’s an experience that makes you feel at home. Will definitely return!

This was the best place we stayed during our trip to China! The attention to the details is excellent, rooms are beautifully curated and very clean, brekfast was delicious and the hotel owners were extremely kind and helpful. Also, a very warm and comfortable bed, we slept super well with no noise. We had the best time in Lijiang and we truly recommend this place!!!

Had a great stay at Yihe Shuyuan. Location is very good, rooms were very clean, and the place was recently renovated. The owners and staff are very friendly, hospitable and helpful. Had great tea drinking and chatting sessions with them and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will recommend this place to anyone visiting Lijiang. A truly unique experience.

I have to say that this is definitely the best stay in LiJiang. First of all, the owners (husband and wife) were extremely friendly and helpful in all possible way they could. If you are a tea lover, you have to try out this place. They invite you for puer tea whenever they see you around, they even have a private tearoom which can be used at any time. One of the warmest acts was when they knew we were heading out for a day trip and they prepared apples, corns and snacks for us to bring along. Besides that, the location is very convenient as it is located in LiJiang ancient town. I will definitely come back in future.

Host was extremely hospitable and made the effort to make us feel at home and was helpful introducing to us to things to do and places to eat in the area. He offered us tea during checkin and we had a great conversation during the process and he even sent us off even though we had an early morning flight to catch. Staff was also friendly and the breakfast was great! The room was spacious and clean, and everything felt brand new. Location is near to the main road, so getting transportation was easy. There are also many food options within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Lijiang!

We traveled to Lijiang in January 2024 and had a chance to visit one homestay inside Lijiang Old Town and loved. We planned to go back to Lijiang again in April and were in searching for that homestay we visited last time. Unfortunately (actually fortunately), we could not find that place in any of the booking platforms. There were many homestays in Trip.com for our consideration and we narrowed down the search to 2 properties. Eventually, we decided to go for Ming He Shu Yuan – Light Luxury Tea Yun Homestay and we have never regretted we choose to stay there. Our plan was to stay for 2 nights. We then decided to reserve 2 different types of room to experience the differences. The property owner called us to make sure the bookings were correct and explained the arrangement to move our belongings from room to another. Even though it was almost dark, they were expecting us in front of the street and managed to tow our luggage on a bumpy Lijiang walkways. We were welcomed by traditional Yunnan tea and walked us to a spacious and comfortable room which was far nice than was shown in the website. The owner sister, Kongshujing, led us the way to the old town in worried of us getting lost here and there. They prepared a bag full of needed breakfast for us to be able to leave early in the morning and made sure our luggage would be moved to another room before we came back. The second night we stayed in another room type which was again higher than our expectations in all aspects. We were astonished by its nice ambient, designs, and layout of this homestay and rooms we stayed. The house was of course beautiful with nice decoration. The rooms were comfortable with homey-modern style. The furniture and bathroom accessories were well considerate and user-friendly. The automatic room control system has greatly surprised us indeed. Lastly, we enjoyed the breakfast served inside the tea room. Trillion thanks to the hospitality with every single details provided. We totally fell in love with your house and will definitely be back.

This is a gem of a hotel. The location is excellent and while located within the old town, is just a 2 min walk from a taxi pick up point. Lijiang old town is traffic free so this is not the case for many other hotels. Rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully renovated. Breakfast is home cooked and very tasty. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

A B&B you won't want to leave after staying here. The location is good and quiet! The boss and the boss lady are both very enthusiastic and warm-hearted. They can help you with any problems and save you a lot of trouble. They will also invite you to drink tea and chat. The breakfast cooked by the aunt is super delicious and you must not miss it. The B&B has a good environment, good facilities, and good hygiene... There is really no complaints. It is the most satisfactory B&B I have stayed in. I will choose here next time!

The stay experience was very satisfactory! The owner of the B&B was very nice and enthusiastic. He helped us pick up our luggage and took the initiative to upgrade our room. The restaurant recommended by the owner was also delicious~ The room was very clean overall. It was the cleanest B&B I have ever stayed in. The location is close to the ancient city, which is very convenient and quiet. The fried pork and rice noodles for breakfast were also delicious. Due to time reasons, I only stayed for one night. I hope to come back next time when I have the opportunity to come to Lijiang😄

Very satisfied! After looking for a long time, I finally booked this homestay in Lijiang. The owner will contact in advance to inform the taxi intersection, and then come to pick up the luggage to the homestay. It is very close to the exit of the ancient city, which is convenient for taking a taxi to other places. It is a few hundred meters away from Sifang Street and Mu Mansion in the ancient city, and it is only a few minutes' walk away. The location is very convenient. The owner upgraded the room type for free. The design and layout of the room are very good, and the hygiene is also very clean. Fresh flower cakes and fruits will be given when you check in. The glass in the room is double-layered, the sound insulation is very good, and the various facilities are also very smart. The breakfast is delicious! The rice noodles and various side dishes cooked by the aunt are rich and delicious! Really recommended! I will choose it again next time I go to play
