Great location, walking distance to the centre of Lijiang old town. Also great service. They provide luggage carry support as cars can't get inside the old town. The view is stunning. We experienced some snow during our stay.

They problem is they get deposit. And our rooms view was not good
Response from Property: Hello, distinguished guests! I think I need to explain to you again that what you booked on Ctrip was a cash-on-deposit order. We need to collect the normal room fee when you check in. In addition, we told you that the cash-on-deposit is collected by the platform, not our hotel. This issue was explained to you when you checked in. If you have time, you may wish to take a look at the platform rules. I feel it is unfair for us to put this responsibility on the hotel. We booked a double bed with tulip courtyard view, so you can't see the view from the room, please forgive me, but there are viewing terraces in the public areas for everyone to take photos and check in. We hope that you can book a viewing room next time you come so that you can experience the panoramic view of the ancient city without leaving your home.

The place was gorgeous, a lot of flowers and a very nice terrace! Everything was perfect and the staff was very friendly. 阿成 Acheng was taking care of us during the whole stay. He is a local and he has made many very good recommendations and organisations for our activities. I can really strongly recommend this place.

My stay at Tinghuatang was exceptional. Service I would rate 100/10, feel like I have personal butler took care of my stay and very thoughtful of assisting me in every aspects to ensure that I have a great time in Lijiang. Beautiful hotel with charming blooming gardens and I love morning coffee and enjoy Lijiang old town panoramic view.

Very friendly service, great communication and collected us and took our bags to help us find the hotel. Gave us good information about the area. Great llocation in the old town. Really lovely panoramic view. Enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location if you also crave a full bird view of the old town of Lijiang! The services are excellent! The most important thing is they’ve hired a helper to carry the luggage up to the resort, which is definitely a life saver! I’ll come back for sure if I ever visit Lijiang again.

Good and responsible butler service and arrangement, picked luggage from the pick up point as the stay is in the middle of the ancient city mountain. 👍🏻

Absolutely loving my 3 night stay with Tinghuatang. 峰兄 is very welcoming and helpful in arranging airport pick up, and ensuring my entire stay is smooth, including helping to book Yulong Mt ticket if needed! He treats his guests like a friend and I enjoyed having conversations over tea with him during my stay, which you can’t find staying in chain hotels. The room itself is very big and clean and there are many photogenic spots in Tinghuatang to take those Instagram shots you need too, I will absolutely come back here again! Thank you 峰兄 (:

环境舒服，服务热情周到! Overall, we had a wonderful experienxe. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. They let us store our luggage for two nights while hiking around Tiger Leaping Gorge. The rooftop is beautiful and spacious to hang out and smells of all the pretty flowers.

Hotel new is great! Ah Cheng was kind and supportive. He also took me to a restaurant and jade shop where I can see the local culture in Lijiang.

Stayed here for 3 days and had a wonderful time. All the staff here are warm and friendly. They are very helpful and really make you feel welcome. They even invited me to sit and have tea with them.

Great view with areas for beautiful photos. Cosy little stay with friendly and nice friendly host. Enjoyed the stay. Just gentle reminder, to call hotel for assistance of luggage as it's in ancient town mid hill. Helpful host will arrange support.
