Wee hotel worth a second visit. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The town center of Yaiza had fabulous 2022 Christmas decorations.

Unfortunately, the hotel does not have quilts. For Chinese people, a quilt is a must when staying in a hotel. It is a quilt inside a quilt, not a blanket and a quilt cover.

Beautiful room! With frescoed ceilings, reading room with two sofas and a balcony. Very very nice. We also had dinner in their restaurant, expensive, but how good...🤤

The location in the pretty town of Yaiza is great. The restaurant is excellent- when it is open.It is usually shut Tues and Wed. Due to staff shortage the hours and menu were limited during our stay. . The breakfast is ample - cereal, fruit, yogurt, eggs, bread, pastries. Cheese and hamsalami on request, if you know to ask, noone tells you. Our room was billed as a superior double room with balcony - it was really a simple double room with balcony- no chairs or desk indoors. The pillows were hard but softer ones came on asking. The 3 stars are really because of the dreadful quality of the towels which we were given until I threw a wobbly. These were old, grey ,thin and in one case in holes. It was an insult to offer these. The reception blamed the laundry but that is onsite!

I would highly recommend staying at Casona de Yaiza. The rooms are really nice , I have seen at least two of them. The breakfast is good. Except for the music at breakfast .. it’s terrible. The swimming pool is cold but very nice. But… there is something more. There is a very nice Bodega there with good food, and where they serve a nice but dangerous local wine.. the wine may cause the effect on you that you meet a total stranger where you end up with in the hottub at the rooftop whitin 3 hours after drinking the wine. And making sweet love in the hottub under the sight of the moon and stars. It’s highly dangerous and if you drink it it will be at your own risk. Oh.. and the lady at the reception is a bit grumpy.. but further.. great place would highly recommend to book here and if karma is good, you will have a great time at Yaiza Lanzarote!

Interesting mix of old and new buildings. Our “old” room was a bit Spartan, with character. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was constantly refreshed. Very friendly and efficient staff. The restaurant menu had just enough choice. Big portions! Again, friendly, helpful staff.

I can highly recommend this clean and comfortable hotel within a short walk of the centre of Yaiza. It is worth paying the supplement for an upgraded room as it is very enjoyable to sit on your own balcony in the evening to relax and read a book or to have a drink. The hotel restaurant is, in my opinion, the best in Yaiza with excellent food and very attentive staff. The very appetising hotel buffet style breakfast is served in the courtyard and it provides a wide range of breads, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, cheese, teas and coffees. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Not a hotel I would recommend. Not a warm welcome. The receptionnist seemed like a robot with her text learned by heart. The room was close to the restaurant/bar/breakfast room, and close to the road. The road is calm, but you hear the cars leaving early morning. The problem was the noise of the restaurant and breakfast room. The restaurant was really loud one night till 2am . A loud table of 8 people (the hotel manager and friends). The next day we told the reception and she seemed not concerned, she just said "ok". The bedding is terrible. Really too hard. The decoration is vintage and provides a charming look. The pool is great. The bar is fine too. Barman is nice and tries provides warm service. You should stick to the happy hour menu. The barman does not know the recipe of cocktails off the happy hour menu. The restaurant is excellent. The chef creates and prepares delicious meals, with new savor.

We booked the hotel (rather late in the day) as part of an Inntravel package - and only then read some of the negative reviews here. Our experience of the hotel brought us to an opposite conclusion. The location on the edge of the small town of Yaiza is not remote, but quiet and tranquil, and only a relatively short drive to the southernmost beaches and resorts, rugged coastal path, or in other directions, the amazing Timanfaya National Park. The room we had was next to the pool (very cold, but invigorating!), and was clean, spacious, and had a great shower and a very comfortable bed. It was cleaned daily, and the only improvement we would suggest is that it could benefit from having a couple of chairs (it had one plastic chair). Some other rooms seemed to be a little more opulent, but the one we had was more than adequate for our needs, and met out expectations Breakfast, served in the courtyard, was wholesome, with a wide and plentiful choice of fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, ham, salami, cheese and breads etc. The breakfast staff, who worked very hard, were fantastic, charming and infinitely patient. Evening meals at the restaurant (which is not run by the hotel, as far as we understood the situation) was a relaxed, very tasty and friendly experience. The management were there to help and advise, and we didn't feel any negative vibes. We had a very relaxing time at the hotel, and wish it and its charming staff well for the future.

A superb boutique style hidden treasure in Yaiza. Beautiful food and attentive friendly staff in a wonderful old Bodega setting. Smoked cheese starter superb and ribeye or fish tacos very special. A treat and worth the journey if you’re ever in lanzarote on hols.

Was so looking forward to staying here, booked for travel the day before storm Hermine hit. Lanzarote airport closed and I couldn't get to the hotel. The management have refused any claim for a refund or change of date. A pity, as I live in Tenerife and am a frequent visitor to Lanzarote. The attitude of the man on reception I spoke to was totally unhelpful and lacked any understanding of the disruption we suffered last week in the Island. Maybe I caught him on a bad day. The hotel claims no knowledge of my reservation or booking reference, but my credit card was still charged...

The restaurant of the casona di yaiza is very nice and characteristic, the cook makes unique dishes and really good compliments for the food and the quality. The room is managed by 2 very good girls among the 2 stands out Margherita who speaks 4 languages and is really good and professional in her work, really congratulations to her and to all the restaurant staff
