The location is very good, with good food and good shopping around. It is also very safe. It is convenient to take the subway, bus, and taxi to all the attractions. The staff are very polite and greet everyone they see. Check-in was also very smooth. The room is very comfortable and large. It is very relaxing to take a bath after a day of walking. The sake downstairs is delicious and the snacks are delicious. I will come here again next time I visit Kyoto.

This hotel has wonderful costumer services and the employees speak many languages. Right up the street there is a 7/11 store for all your snack run, there are cafe and restaurant within walking distance. The Karasuma-Oike station is literally 3-5 minutes walk. The best part is the traveler’s store that is about a 10 min walk. I been wanting to go there and finally got to visit it. This store has stationary items such as notebooks that can have you record your journey.
