Nice boutique hotel near Karasuma/Shijo Station,(5/10min walk). Neighbourhood is convenient yet relatively peaceful. Lots of cafes nearby too.

Recommend! Stay for 3 nights. The hotel located in the center of Kyoto, 6 minutes walk from metro station, there are a lot of food stores, convenient store and supermarket around the hotel. I like the hotel decorations, it’s so Japanese style, simple and elegant. We’ll stay here again for the next trip 👍👍👍👍👍

It was cute and comfortable in my stay. The restaurant was closed on the day of my visit but it’s perfectly close to shopping centers and a good walk to the nearest temple

The hotel location is near to the central of Kyoto everything is close by and convenient. Lots of food choices and amenities. Served bread and drink at the lobby.

It was a pleasant stay with great convenience. Family mart just downstairs and a short walk to the subway.

Our room was extremely dirty. The floors were stained throughout the room and even worse in the toilet room. The front desk lady that checked us in was definitely not friendly. She did not have the Japanese culture customer service which made the start of our stay not enjoyable. The second night we washed our laundry and it didn't dry them properly we had to bring wet clothes back to our room and hang dry them because there was a line of other guests trying to wash their clothes.

Love at the first sight with this hotel! Bedroom is as shown on web. It’s compact but comfortable! Staffs are helpful with our luggage meanwhile we wait for our check-in time, they offered umbrella when it was rainy day, amenities are intact. We like the fact that our room have a separate toilet and bathroom. Overall, we love this hotel and would definitely come back here again when we have the chance! 💕

Very good service and very clean and tidy although the room size is a bit smally. Ut still okay as the location is not bad and convenience stire is just downstairs.

Very good location. Just 15 mins walk from Kyoto Central station. Quiet at night. The room is small but it is common in Japan.

Front lobby staff do not like guests talking loud in lobby. I made two bookings in subsequential days and both bookings were for the same kind of room. I told front desk the day before my first booking end that I do not want to move room. But I was told to move rooms because my room has already been assigned by their system to another party. After a lot of struggle, they finally agreed to let me not move. This lack of flexibility would never happen in North America. How can they let the system run the hotel? Those guest assigned for the next day has not arrived. It is beyond reason that they cannot switch those upcoming guest but make the in house guest move.

It's a nice hotel with a good location, easy enough to find from the train station. The rooms are clean and cozy. What was disappointing was the service at front desk. Not friendly or welcoming at all as compared to our stay in other cities like Osaka. We were even shuned away for breakfast as we wore the traditional Yukatas that were provided by the hotel, as the front desk said we couldn't wear it at the breakfast lounge and had to either go back up to change or we could take a small box of bread and pastries (that were cold) and we could eat in our rooms instead.
