The staff were very friendly and the location was a bit far from the subway but close by bus, which was nice. And the biggest reason I chose the ryokan was the kaiseki, which was really delicious and nice. I like the dinner kaiseki better than the breakfast! And the teacher who helped me with the kaiseki meal also gave me a souvenir! Oh, it was nice that there was a Korean speaker, but the English speaker had such bad pronunciation that I couldn't understand what he was saying, so it was hard. Other than that, I was very satisfied!

This is a very old hotel. Putting old and worn out in front of it doesn't mean you won't have high expectations, but the experience is still okay. The bath is ordinary, but better than nothing. The room is big, which is quite comfortable. The breakfast was good.

The hotel rooms are very Japanese style and there are hot springs open. It is a few hundred meters away from Yachuan and is very suitable for leisure travel

It was a clean hotel and the staff were very polite. There was no disinfectant spray for clothes in the room, so if you're going in the summer I recommend bringing your own or using the laundromat. The Kamo River is about a 3-minute walk away, so it was refreshing to take a walk there in the morning.

It's a bit far from downtown Kyoto, but there's a convenience store nearby and you can take a taxi, so there wasn't much of an inconvenience! The Korean staff member explained things kindly at first, and the other Japanese staff members also treated me kindly, which was great! Kaiseki and breakfast were very delicious🤤🤤

A very old hotel, the facilities and environment are very old, to be fair, the service and hygiene are still OK. Ctrip returns 4.8 points? Please don’t step on the thunder! Finally, parking is not free.

Very retro, very beautiful.

I stayed in a Japanese-style tatami, which was a special experience. Real tatami and solid wood sliding doors, the paper kind. We didn't order breakfast. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic. Although none of them could speak Chinese, they communicated with us patiently in Japanese and English. The hotel has a large bathhouse. You can take a bath for free and experience the Japanese bathhouse. The good thing is that the location is near a residential area, but the inconvenient thing is that it is quite far from the subway station. Overall quite satisfied.

The room was bigger than I expected and I was able to relax. The staff were kind, and even though I was there for sightseeing, they taught me a lot of things.

The service is very good and the food is delicious.
