Hotel is amazing. Location is adjacent to anew shopping center and it is only minutes away from the lake. The staff are incredible and the rooms impactable I extended my stay by one night just because of the staff and perfect hotel room. Best one in Kunming I expect.

Facilities: To be honest, it may be a shop opened eight or nine years ago, the facilities are obviously old, the supporting facilities in the room are slightly poor, the bathing equipment is old, the shower is turned on and water is sprayed in all directions to the west, and the water temperature is hot and cold. There is basically no other place to sit except the bed, which is really not in line with the B&B at this price. Hygiene: The room hygiene is average. If you accidentally open the drawer, there will be food garbage left by the previous guest. Other than that, it is quite clean. Environment: It was rebuilt on the basis of the original Japan Pavilion in the World Expo Park. The atmosphere of daily life is good and relatively quiet. Since the hotel meals must be booked in advance, you can only order takeout, and the front desk butler will help deliver it to the room. We booked the Derung room for our stint in Kunming and was blown away by the service. We were celebrating my birthday and my boyfriend wanted to get the hotel staff to help deliver a bouquet since we don’t have local phone numbers, but the staff took the initiative to buy a bouquet of roses on his behalf at no charge instead. The room was beautiful and clean as well! The hotel is also located within walking distance from all key attractions in Kunming, like Kunming Old Street and Nanqiang Pedestrian Street. The perfect stay for first timers to Kunming/Yunnan ☺️ Would note that as the hotel is located in the heart of the city centre cars cannot drop you off directly at the doorstep - do make arrangements prior with the front desk and let them know what time you’re arriving.
