Kunming Haiyuan Boutique Homestay (Nanping Pedestrian Street) Reviews

A very nice, clean and well decorated room with a peaceful public courtyard. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They gave us huabing and tea on our last day and allowed us to relax in the coutyard after checkout. The hotel is attached to a very nice mushroom hotpot restuarant. Delicious! Wifi signal drops often, wasnt a problem for me but if you dont have a data plan and want to do some gaming or streaming you'll probably be unable to.

A nice little quaint courtyard hotel with a beautiful garden in the Center and many friendly cats roaming around! 😆 the service was great as the counter staff helped us with the luggages as there was a rough uneven road towards the hotel entrance (shared with the mushroom pot restaurant). The rooms were big and comfortable! All amenities are well provided and overall a good comfy stay. Walking distance to shopping areas too.

Location is very convenient, and if you love CATS, this is definitely the place! Two of our rooms are at the third floor, a few pieces of the tiles on the stairs were broken, hopefully this has already been fixed. However the staff was very kind to help us move the baggages up to our rooms.

The hotel is located in a very convenient area and close to many eateries. Highlight of this place is the resident cats that roam around freely. The hotel also has a beautiful landscape despite being a city hotel. The room is also comfortable. Definitely would recommend, especially if you love cats!

the location is very easy to find through Didi apps. Taxi can fetch and drop us exactly in front of the entrance of the hotel. the hotel is very near to nanping street food and malls. service by the hotel is also great, very helpful, easy to communicate (using google translate 🤭)

Great location and friendly hotel staff. We’ve alot of luggages and they help us to bring up and down the stairs. Very greatful for them. No lift in the hotel compound but staff are very willing to help out!

Nice small boutique hotel in the city center, quiet and very clean. The central garden is really beautiful and quiet, perfect to enjoy a tea. The rooms are clean and well maintained (but no way to hang clothes, that's the only minor point). The staff is helpful and nice. Many opportunities for shopping or restaurants in the nearby pedestrian streets of Kunming.

Cozy and quiet place to stay that is near the old streets :) We can always return to rest and play with the kittens who are roaming around the garden!

The room was very nice (and even tasteful), with good heating, in principle justifying the price, but there were noises and unpleasant smells coming from the bathroom area at night. Everything else wss perfect.

Upgraded to a duplex, the room is very spacious. I personally feel that although it is facing the street, it is not too noisy at night (everyone has different needs for quietness when resting). What I like most is the environment of the small courtyard. The courtyard is small but elegantly decorated. Walking in from the bustling and lively environment allows you to relax both physically and mentally. There are also five cats that walk by from time to time, which is very cute. It is very close to Nanqiang Street Night Market and Kunming Old Street. There are also Subao rice noodles and mushroom pots downstairs. You can take a taxi to the door, which is very convenient for travel and eating.

Advantages: 1⃣️The view from the room is fine, just like the promotional picture, the large glass faces the courtyard, and it is similar to one-way glass, there are curtains, privacy is guaranteed 2⃣️There are four or five cats, all of which are very cute and friendly, not aggressive (but remember to lock the door, otherwise some will go into the room and get on the bed, don't ask me how I know), emotional value is full 3⃣️Next to the hotel is the famous mushroom hotpot, I also chose this one after doing a guide on Dianping, and the taste is not bad Disadvantages: 1⃣️No elevator 2⃣️There are big bugs that look like cockroaches in the room, two a day😰But the front desk lady is very service-oriented.
