Good, convenient location: - within 5-8 mins walk to ErJi subway station (Line1), which is just 6 stops from Kunming Railway Station. - hotel occupies the top few floors of an office tower building which is part of the Dadu Motian office-cum-shopping mall. Ie. I could leave my room, head downstairs, walk into the mall, take the elevator up to the cinema on the 6th floor of the mall, and be seated and watching a movie in the cinema within 5 mins (provided you don't get lost inside the mall searching for the cinema, as happened to me during my first few times roaming inside the mall). - a 24hr food street, popular with the locals, is a short 3 mins walk from the mall. - The HUGE GR Shopping Mall complex is also within 15 walks distance. Room was advertised as "without air-conditioning"... yet I booked it, as I was curious and wanted to experience the effect of Kunming's reputed "Perpetual Spring" climate in a room without aircon. Room is spacious and has everything expected, except: I can't get any live CCTV news. .. apparently only prerecorded cable news from CCTV2, 3, 5, 6 & 7. Totally NO CCTV1 news, even pre-recorded ones! The elevator reach upto level 15, and my room is located on level 16 (where morning breakfast is served), so I need to climb up/down one level via the staircase. The included breakfast is very typical, local Chinese noodle plus various condiments ... and is only available between 7-9 am. As my departure flight is late at night, I was able to do late checkout for a few hours at ¥20 per hour. 👍🙂

Hotel room is big and clean and highly value for money. Breakfast is Chinese style but good enough, especially the Chinese noodle soup. Staff is polite, especially housekeeping staff and front desk. Highly recommended for business travellers. Walking distance to metro subway station.

Front desk staff are not friendly.

The garden room we stayed in was on the roof and we had to climb a flight of stairs. There was no air conditioning, but the store owner had already made some notes. The space and environment in the room are mostly OK, but I hope to change the slippers I wear for bathing, because they make my feet uncomfortable. Fortunately, I brought slippers with me. In addition, the room I stayed in was in a corner, and there seemed to be an office next to it, so the sound insulation was not very good and it was a bit noisy.

The room is not very soundproof. There is a wooden plank road in the corridor, which makes a lot of noise when someone passes by. People with good sleep quality should not consider it. The hotel has a good value for money and an overall neutral evaluation. The museum is very close, and I was lucky enough to enter it before closing time and see the changes of the times.

The hotel elevator is shared with other business places in the same building! There are many people coming in and out, and there are even drunken drinkers! The security situation is more worrying! The advantage is that there is a night market nearby! Lots of choices to eat! There is also Century Super Mall not far away! You can go shopping, eat and shop, which can be completely solved here. And not far from the subway station! It's quite convenient to carry luggage. The room is quite spacious! The bed is also good to sleep on! Stayed for two nights and the sleep quality was OK! Rich Chinese dishes for breakfast! 20 dishes are a bit surprising! You can also order freshly cooked rice noodles or noodles for free!

I've stayed here before and it was good. It's still good to stay here again this time. It's very convenient to eat around. There is a night market under the hotel, which is very lively and there are many small shops selling things, which is very convenient.

The room has a wide view and is very quiet. The hot water is very large. Although I booked a non-air-conditioned room, it was not hot at all. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes very good. The hotel is conveniently located, a few minutes walk from Metro Line 1, and a few yuan by taxi to Yunnan Provincial Museum. There is a large shopping mall and supermarket downstairs, and there are many places to eat around. The hotel is affordable and the waiters are very friendly. It's great. We booked for seven nights, but when we got there we found out that we had to climb three flights of stairs to get to our room. It was very unfriendly to carry luggage up the stairs. I can only cancel the subscription and change to another one.

The room is clean and tidy with complete facilities. The view from the large floor-to-ceiling glass is very good.
