Unexpected location where it located in the peak of the hill with the challenging trails. But the view very nice because you stay at the peak of hills 😂 Kinabalu mountan very clear. The front desk helpful but wifi so bad coverage

Hotel located slightly far from attractions area. Grable Road and ensure your car is safe and maintained before enter the driveway. I am staying at Kinabalu View Room. The view in the morning is really beautiful ❤️ Overall, if you’re looking for a hotel in this area with a great view and a comfortable stay, I’d definitely recommend.

Overall considered a good place to stay, just the only down side is the washroom water got some "unpleasant" smell.

Our stay here was absolutely magical! The weather was perfect—chilly and pleasant, with a nice breeze. Since we’re used to hot weather, it was like a dream come true. The reception area was huge and right next to it was a great restaurant that served delicious Nasi Goreng. There were plenty of parking spaces, and the resort itself was clean and well-maintained. The view was incredible! From our room on the Kinabalu Wing, we could see the majestic Mount Kinabalu. It was breathtaking! Just a heads up, the dirt and stone road leading to the resort is about 2.2 km long, and if you’re not used to it, it might be a bit bumpy. If you’re coming here for the first time, it’s best to arrive before dark. I’m definitely going back here again! Maybe next time, I’ll have a barbecue under the stars of Kinabalu. That would be epic!

Poor customer service , road towards hotel was terrible , Room was really dusty upon check in , we had to check in after 7pm so nothing much could be done. Woke up at 6am to a great view of Mount Kinabalu but then had no water to shower from 7am - 9am , Had water after that which came in dirt color, I was given keys to another room , just to shower. I immediately asked for check out , no refund given, nor was I asked why I am check out 1 days before. Overall , I score the stay 4/10 , those who appreciate view , can stay , those who expects clean hotel rooms with view, sorry this place is not for you

Please choose kinabalu wing if you want the best view of Gunung Kinabalu. Not recommended for honeymoon as we can hear you from outside.

We had an amazing stay here, though the road leading to the place is a little bit fun, the breathtaking views right from my room’s balcony is worth it. Despite the chilling temperatures during night especially, the hotel is cozy, with water heater and warm blankets. Hopefully the operator will continously improving its facilities. If you love mountain views and don’t mind the cold, this place is recommended!

The biggest selling point of this hotel is the stunning view of Mount Kinabalu. However, the access road is unpaved for about 3 km, which might be a minor inconvenience. The room is spacious and reasonably clean. The bathroom is well-maintained with plenty of hot water. The breakfast is simple but satisfying, featuring traditional local cuisine.

Staff is friendly and courteous. Quiet environment with great mountainous view. Bed is old, pillows are flat and overused. Toilet water is light yellowish. Buffet breakfast is simple.

Remote Location: The hotel is located on a high hill, about 2.3km away (unpaved road) from the main area, which takes around 30 minutes to reach. Dining: There are limited dining options nearby. Stock up on snacks or be sure to order room service before 10 pm. Visibility: Fog can roll in at night, so plan to arrive before dark. Overall, this hotel is perfect for those seeking a unique experience with an incredible view. Just be prepared for the "rustic" charm and slightly limited amenities.
