one of my favourite hotel in KK. Newly renovated. Nice design, coozy. Aircond is cold, just the water pressure at level 5 is abit weak. overall is nice

I’m very satisfied with my stay. The Deluxe family room was upgraded, which was a lovely surprise. I especially loved the colonial atmosphere—very charming and comfortable. And the staff provided excellent service and friendly. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended!

The room was clean, but the facilities were a bit old and the materials used felt cheap. However, the hotel's location on Gaya Street is excellent! Most of the popular spots are nearby, making it super convenient for dining, laundry, shopping, and getting to the jetty.

My family really like this hotel. Recommended if you want to stay during weekends to enjoy the night market nearby.

The hotel itself was nice. The location was great, just on the Gaya Street and you can grab anything you like from the night market. However, I was nearly triple taxed. I paid the traveller tax on the platform already, i wasnt aware of that. When checking in, the front desk staff asked for traveller tax, I passed him 100rm and he gave me 70 back. When checking out, I was asked to pay the tax because they didn’t find any log in their system to prove we have paid the tax. They wouldn’t let us go unless we can prove we have paid the tax or I pay again. And the manager even said that we as customers should keep our receipt to prove that. After long negotiations, they finally decided to let us go. On the way out we talked to another friend stayed in the same hotel, he was even not being asked to pay the tax, the front desk staff told that he has paid online already. So I started to check my own receipt in trip.com and emails, then I found out that I have also paid my taxes online already. If the friend didn’t inspire me, or the friend was also asked to pay the tax, we won’t find out till we die. When I stayed in another hotel in Malaysia, I was also accidentally double taxed. But they actively apologized and gave me the money back. So I wouldn’t say anything and I would’t leave any bad reviews to them. Sixty3 hotel showed that they did extremely bad job on training their staff and quite awful attitude when negotiating.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right at the doorstep of the night market, and behind it are the pier and a shopping mall. However, the facilities are really old. For the same price, I feel like you'd be better off staying in a guesthouse. I wouldn't highly recommend it.

Terrible, absolutely terrible. They were doing renovations and drilling at midnight. I ran into another guest in the elevator, and we both went to the front desk, like, 'What the hell?!' Kota Kinabalu city center is also super noisy, so if you're a light sleeper, don't pick this place. I stayed here in 2019, and now it's just run down; there were even long hairs on the towels.

The location is very convenient; most popular restaurants and snack spots are within walking distance, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the pier. However, being in the city, the constant motorbikes zooming by are a huge disturbance. If you're a light sleeper, you won't get any rest all night.
