Good places I love it

Clean and comfortable accommodation and I liked the cool restaurant with air conditioning, which is not often seen in other Maldives resorts. There were some ants and mosquitoes, but considering the nature, I guess it's not a big deal. The Mercure offers an amazing underwater experience, but I wish there were stairs to get close to the reef for beach villa guests. The current ladder type looks very dangerous.

INCREDIBLE!! Just… WOW. We had the best vacation of our lives! Everything was amazing, but what truly made it unforgettable was the staff. A huge thank you to Poppy, Sameera, and Manvi for your incredible kindness and warm smiles at every meal, you truly made us feel at home. In the kitchen, Selvakumar, Roshan, and Deepak treated us to delicious dishes, always served with a smile. At the bar, Kamal and Pradeep are absolute legends, masters of both cocktails and good vibes! A special thank you to Amad for the beautiful bed decorations, such a thoughtful and touching gesture! And to Ida and Jijo, thank you for the most relaxing massage, pure bliss from start to finish. THANK YOU all from the bottom of our hearts. You are the reason we already want to come back!

Had a wonderful relaxing holiday Khan was very helpful after Qatar lost our luggage he kept us informed and delivered our luggage to our villa The resturant personal were brilliant sam( I think that was his name) looked after us at breakfast lunch and dinner as well as Sue lan how looked after us at the Italian and the guy who cleaned our villa every day and left small tokens on our bed each day Wonderful staff and a lovely holiday thank you

Everyone, this place is 5 stars - it is so intimate and unique here. By the end of our stay we got to know some of our staff, they treat us so well and everyone was so nice. We had a coral reef right outside of our on the water bungalow and could see the beautiful fishes as soon as started snorkeling. We came first week of May and a few days had a stormy weather - happened to have an issue with a diving center and missed out on a dive, but the way the staff has handled this was so courteous and kind! We love this place and dream to be back soon! Thank you for this once in a lifetime experience for our honeymoon! ❤️

My stay at the Maldives resort was nothing short of paradise. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and breathtaking views. The overwater villa was luxurious, with direct access to the crystal-clear lagoon and stunning sunset views. The food was exceptional, offering a variety of fresh seafood and international dishes. Staff were attentive and always ready to assist with a smile. Truly unforgettable!

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and lovingly looked after by the entire team. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always smiling you can truly feel that they love what they do. A very special thank you goes to Kylie, who took such great care of us. Her warm personality and dedication made our stay even more wonderful! Everyone from the restaurant and housekeeping to the activities team deserves praise. Each team member helped make us feel like we were in paradise. One particularly touching moment was when Kylie found out that we had just gotten married she surprised us with a bottle of wine sent to our villa , and the next day, our bed was beautifully decorated. This thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and truly made us feel special. Thank you, Kylie, for this wonderful surprise! We stayed in an overwater villa with a private pool, and it was an absolute dream. From our deck, we could watch colorful fish and even small, harmless reef sharks swimming by every day. The underwater world was like something out of a fairytale full of life, color, and beauty. The food was another highlight absolutely delicious, fresh, and varied. There was something for every taste, and we were impressed by the high quality and creativity of the meals. Our villa was cleaned multiple times a day, always spotless and beautifully maintained. It's clear that cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail are top priorities at the resort. We’re so grateful for the wonderful memories and can truly recommend this resort from the bottom of our hearts. A big thank you to the entire team you are amazing! We hope to return one day.

My husband & I stayed her during June for 7 days in an over water sunset villa & it was the most amazing week. Even though it rained each day it didn’t ruin our time as it was still so warm! We were still in our pool over looking the ocean most rainy periods! The staff at this resort definitely made a difference to our stay, Khan who was our host was so helpful each day ensuring he responded to our requests immediately each time. The super friendly bar staff Pradeep, Kamal, Kunal were so much fun, kind & helpful. We made friends instantly with them & really enjoyed their company & conversations. Poppy, Manvi & Shifa who were in the dining room brightened us each day with their beautiful smiles & helpful assistance. Always checking to ensure our days started & ended well. We will miss these wonderful staff who made our day special! Don’t forget to see Ida in the spa, she is the most incredible massage therapist! If you are thinking about a holiday in the Maldives look no further, book this resort!!

Where do I start…..? The setting was idyllic, the snorkeling amazing, our room was perfect, the food was extra delicious, the drinks were fantastic and servings of all food and beverages was generous. Every single staff member was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Stand outs were Poppy, Arif, Madina, Biman and Joanne. My husband and I celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary there with another couple of besties. We LOVED our time at Kooddoo and hope to be back soon.

There are so many options in the Maldives that it took me over two months to research and finally decide on one. All of that time certainly paid off. The Mercure was everything I wanted for a Maldives experience and it checked all of the boxes. We flew into Male and were met when we got off the plane and brought to a comfortable lounge to await our flight to Koodoo. Don’t worry, this plane isn’t too small and is quite comfortable (very common plane I flew on regularly in Alaska). It is an hour flight to Koodoo where there is a runway in the middle of the small island. From there you are greeted by Mercure staff and put into a golf cart to get to the resort. After a warm greeting and quick check in at the office, the cart then brings you to your room. We had a gorgeous overwater bungalow that was everything I imagined it would be and more. We did not get the one with a pool because I didn’t intend to use it and couldn’t justify the price (there is a huge main pool in front of the restaurant). I did see a lot of reviews recommending the sunset side. I didn’t find it worth the extra money either, but we didn’t miss out. We simply walked out the front door and stood on the boardwalk to enjoy it every night. The bungalow was perfect. The room is spacious, the bed is large and very comfortable, and the cherry on top was that floor window. That was definitley a must have on our list. I really enjoyed seeing fish both day and night. The large bathroom was very modern and wonderful (everything is excellent quality). There is an indoor shower, but I always opted for the outdoor shower. There is also a tub outside (these are open roof, but surrounded by a wall for privacy - bungalows are very private regardless). Pro Tip: bring some bubble bath solution for the outdoor tub. The back balcony was perfect with a couple lounge chairs, umbrella, and stairs down to the water. Another tip I read about was to get as close to the edge as possible (for me, this was #521). It is a further walk to go eat or do anything else, but a much shorter swim to the edge of the reef where the deep, blue water is. You should be able to stand when you enter the water. There is coral everywhere and you will see sea life immediately. We saw plenty of sharks (mostly black tip and some larger Nerf). The turtles tended to stay at the edge where that beautiful, deep blue water is. Snorkel to your hearts content and you’ll see all that you want. We did do one snorkel excursion just to mix it up. It wasn’t that much extra and I believe worth it. We also did the dolphin cruise which I recommend. Another highlight was the jet ski. I recommend an hour rental so you can go with the guide and ride with some dolphins (even more magical than the dolphin cruise). We made a stop at a sand bar in the middle of the water. What a cool spot to take in the beauty of that ocean. Don’t miss out on the fun tube (get pulled behind a jet ski - very common to hear the ladies screaming as the gentlemen laughed

Our trip to the Maldives at Mecure Kooddoo has been a paradise. Pinnacle of relaxation, rejuvenation and a wonderful experience from start to finish. All members of staff too many names to mention were absolutely fantastic and so accommodating Would highly recommend to couples who want to spend quality time at a quality venue. The diving centre had so much to offer and all the new and wonderful experiences we both enjoyed were a pleasure to be a part have. The amazing outdoor shower and bathroom with palm trees as a ceiling was the highlight of my trip. Thank you to all at Mercure Kooddoo Who made my dream come true. An experience of a life time full of passion.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The snorkelling was fantastic, I'd absolutely recommend the sunset cruise and the private photoshoot was well worth it! We have have some lovely memories and photos too. The catering was very good, and there were always options available. My wife has allergies to Fish and Dairy but this wasn't a problem (even on fish night). There were always great alternatives. All of the staff were extremely helpful, they all went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of. Made one of the staff members was particularly attentive she was always there with a lovely smile to greet us. When the pastry chef learned of my wife's dairy intolerance he went into the kitchen and specially prepared a dairy free version of one of the deserts. This was completely unprompted and we were taken back with his kindness. I really enjoyed spending my 40th birthday here and I'm sure I'd like to return soon. The customer experience manager was very helpful and nothing was too much. My goodness I haven't even started to talk about the scenery yet, well you can check out the photos yourself. It was stunning! I would also like to add that I needed to see the private onsite doctor, I was expecting to have to pay through the nose however I was pleasantly surprised.
