Lanta at Home Reviews

This was my second time staying here, I came here last year and didn’t think twice to stay somewhere new on the island. Lanta@home is a wonderful place to stay. The man and his wife who run the hotel are absolutely lovely people, honestly some of the kindest people I have ever met I’d say. They always greet you with big smiles and are super accommodating and friendly. Lanta@Home is very clean and safe and is in a great location - minutes from the beach, restaurants, and place to rent a motorbike to explore the island. 10/10, highly recommend.

That was the best accommodation I've had in Thailand so far. The room was big enough, well equipped and very clean. I was warmly welcomed. It was pleasantly quiet. A good location, everything within walking distance. The woman even drove me to my ferry without asking when I checked out. Always happy to stay again 😊

The room amazed me the second the manager, Wind, who is the younger brother of the proprietor, Mr. Sunny, opened its door to me. With a refreshing Thai scent spreading from within, the room whose original two single beds had been combined into a big one for a solo traveler under my presumptuous request totally captivated me. It had a nice patio where I could put my feet up after a hot day out to the beach in the broiling sun. Wind also recommended me to go to what he considered as a must try restaurant and bar. He got me a scooter to which I only had to pay half overdue price on the last day because I forgot the time and couldn’t make it from the farthest beach, Bamboo Beach, on the island. His assistant, Shu, was shy and nice. One day I mistakenly bought two eggs that were light boiled, if not raw. She, without a second thought, helped me save my breakfast protein source. The proprietress, Ms. Ning, got me some pizza and bread she and her husband seemingly practiced making in the bistro kitchen next door. I would definitely book a room with breakfast next time if they planned to reopen after the Covid outbreak. In short, the hotel, just like its name, truly made feel at home; the owner and the staff, including the cat, Member, were terribly good and generous people. I will be terribly missing them. Of course I will go back to Koh Lanta in the future, and of course,Lanta at Home will be my one and only choice. PS. See you soon, Wind. Nice talking to you. You are a fun soul. Nice and helpfully stuff

Very cozy hotel. Cleanliness everywhere, snow-white bed. Located near the pier, huge beach with stunning sunsets nearby. There is always water, unobtrusive service, along the street there are many cafes and right on the street you can always buy food and fruit. There is a great desire to return)

I liked the room, everything is fine, the sea is about 5 minutes walk away

A hotel where everything is done with love. The attitude is as if you came to visit your parents. In addition to a water cooler on the first floor, bottles of water were brought to the room every day. The sea is a stone's throw away, there is a 7/11, Mother Marche and many delicious cafes nearby. We will definitely come back here again. Lanta in the very heart

The room is well-equipped and very clean. The air conditioning is great. The staff service is very good. The location is very convenient and close to the beach. The landlord answered all my questions and recommended good restaurants and cheap motorcycle rentals for only 200 baht a day. He also told me where to go for the best fishing. It was a very good accommodation experience.

The hotel "price-quality" is simply excellent. Very nice and helpful staff. The rooms are cozy and clean. The beach is a couple of minutes away. There are no breakfasts, but there are a lot of decent cafes nearby for every taste. Perhaps the only downside is that it is quite noisy in the rooms with a window on the road.

The hotel is excellent! Very clean and spacious rooms with a panoramic large window and balcony. On the balcony there are 2 chairs and a table. Beautiful view from the window. Very clean and comfortable. Large TV with Internet and YouTube. No excellent. There is a bike rental for 250 baht per day. There are many cafes nearby. Seven is across the road. The beach is a 2-minute walk away.

It was a very nice hotel and the host family was super hospitable :)

Although it is just a B&B, the service is first-rate! On the day of check-out, we hurriedly dragged our luggage and left. We forgot our sunscreen clothes and two bracelets in the room. When we were queuing to board the boat, the owner handed them to us. We were stunned. The shock and emotion were beyond words. We will come to Lanta Island again for this store! Definitely!

Good hosts and hotel. It seems cheap but everything is clean.
