The Lavande Hotel, newly opened last year in Xinduqiao, is located in the town where you are about to enter Xinduqiao. Although it is not in Xinduqiao, it is convenient. There are some restaurants and small supermarkets around. It is not far from Xinduqiao. It takes ten minutes to drive. It may be off-season, parking is very convenient, and the hotel entrance is casual. The hardware is good, the projection room interior we stayed in and some Marriott hotels can be comparable, and there are oxygen supply equipment, humidifiers and air purifiers in the room. The hotel 7.30-9.30 has breakfast. The most satisfying thing is the service. While the room type has been upgraded, because we want to change the projection room, the front desk waiter sister wearing glasses helped make up a little difference and rose.

JJake Vaughan 杰克Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!

GGuest UserThis youth hostel is newly opened, and the facilities and environment are very good. It has a separate shower room and a separate bathroom heater, so you don't have to worry about getting cold. Toiletries are provided, and even face towels are provided. This is the first time I have experienced this in so many youth hostels. The location is very close to the bus terminal. This is very friendly for travelers who have a little more luggage but don’t want to take a taxi. It is well worth staying.

We felt the warm welcome of the ******* people👏 and even upgraded our room. Facilities: Very complete Health: good Environment: good Service: great Afternoon tea for two: delicious yogurt Good night milk: We were sitting around the fire on the first floor chatting, it was really comfortable.

GGuest UserThis hotel was sold during the pandemic and the new owners are doing a great job slowing repairing the grounds. Beautiful gardens and the rooms, dishing and reception areas are all lovely. We booked this place because it has a pool. Well the pool was broken and clearly a long way down the list of things to fix. During this COVID times I can’t imagine guest numbers are huge and we appreciated the really friendly staff and what they have fixed up so far. There are several dogs and cats at the hotel, which our kids loved. I did not like the big Labrador drooling on my leg during our dinner and asked the staff to remove it from the dining room. One of the other dogs also entered our room uninvited. We have a dog back home in Beijing and are dog people, but I suggest to the management of this hotel that they keep their pets away from the dining and guests areas. The food was nicely present and we had one of the few genuinely good coffees here. That coffee was a highlight of the week. Staff spoke excellent English and were always welcoming and helpful. I recommend this hotel and suggest you keep in mind that older reviews are not reflective of current owners and that facilities do not appear as pictured.

KKukesigangjielaerThe appearance is domineering and has a ******* style. The room is unique in this area. Not only does it maintain all-season standards, it even feels a little over-the-top, such as automatic toilets and showers. The facilities are very high-end, not to mention floor heating and diffused oxygen supply throughout the house. The details of the room are so exquisite that it is difficult to imagine that it could be built to such a standard under such conditions. The service is very good, far exceeding the normal city level, very enthusiastic and caring, and the food and drink recommendations are very reliable. There are ample parking spaces and charging stations. The breakfast standard is also up to the city level, which is outstanding in this area. There should definitely be a sign of an all-season resort. It's great. It was originally just a place to stay while passing by, but in the past two days, I completely used this hotel as a base camp to explore the surrounding area in depth. This is a way to play that I have never considered before. If there is such a full season along 315, I will definitely choose it.

AAmanda_SofiaHostel is at a 5min walk from the busstation which is very conventient. It is quite a walk from there to the center of the city though. It was a bit difficult to find as the entrance is at the entrance of a different hotel and you have to go to the upper floor to enter the hostel. Female dormroom is quite small and there is almost no space to leave your luggage. The bedsheets weren't clean, and clearly used before. Plenty of toilets and showers available, which were quite clean. The family who runs the hostel is very kind but they don't seem to know much about activities such as hiking in the area. Wifi available in the common area. Okay for one or two nights.

BBrownI stayed in this town four years ago, and my hotel was an absolute dump. Dark, cold, drafty, and unfriendly. There were very few hotels in town at that time . Wow! have things changed for years. There are now quite a few more hotels and the Holiday Inn not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Absolutely clean, great amenities, heated floor in the bedroom !!! large space in the bedroom. Everything was just great. Underground parking with elevator to the lobby. The staff does not speak much English but they’re absolutely expert using their phone as a translator and we had zero problems communicating. Very friendly staff - - couldn’t ask for more. I would definitely return here.

BBingcunI booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive. So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city. The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones. I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information. One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C! The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.
