Amazing location with great view. Good sized room, there is a bar/restaurant on site offers great food too. Breakfast is provided with no extra cost.

Hótel was clean and check in was seamless.

We stayed in Fosshotel Nupar for 4 nights with a group of 8 people. The hotel looks good from the outside, quite minimalistic and has a good view to the glacier but once you step inside the room .. It’s probably one of the worst hotels we’ve ever stayed. 1) There’s literally nothing in the room. They don’t have queen or king sized beds , only two separated beds standing together. All our four rooms were like this. 2) The shower was not great either, had to shower on the floor. Toilet is smelly. 3) On our departure day we asked to prepare lunch boxes since we couldn’t have breakfast due to early leaving. We only got one sandwich per person. 4) 70% of the staff is rude at this hotel, not willing to help. 5) The bedsheets were dirty and old. The breakfast buffet was ok. The dinner is expensive and not worthy the price. Don’t recommend this hotel.

Nice little hotel in a remote part of island. Definitely worth a vist

View and location was stunning, rooms very basic for the price, I’m guessing location n view was where my money went ! Also wish they was black out curtains as the blinds didn’t quite fit the window and doors and let a lot of light in but overall it was a enjoyable stay and the staff were very pleasant !

the room was not very big and the towels were not clean…. not sure if the hotel had changed the towels for the new customers…. paid €260 for such quality was not worthy

Check in was smooth. Room was basic but comfortable. Only stayed one night. Didn’t have much of an impression.

Very clean hotel, spacious room and generous breakfast, I recommend. Magnificent view with the added bonus of the terrace.

The location of the hotel is very good. It feels like being on another planet. The bed is very comfortable. You can see the scenery outside when you open the door. The breakfast is very rich and the time is very long. There is free parking here.

The room is too small, just like domestic express hotels, or even worse, it seems that there are many tour groups. But I think the hygiene is OK. The surrounding environment is not bad, in a wilderness, the scenery is still beautiful, but the wilderness in Iceland is good, it is beautiful when there is sunshine. In addition, I think the breakfast is OK (a bit unexpected). I admire Iceland's environmental awareness. In such a remote place early in the morning, the garbage truck came.

The hotel environment is very good. Clean and comfortable. It is relatively easy to check in. Even if there are two people in one room, it is not small. Along the Golden Coastline. Convenient to various attractions. I will stay here again next time.

There was a power outage when we checked in at 5:00 pm. Half an hour later, we were eating a buffet at night, and the power outage lasted for 20 minutes. The power outage lasted from 7:00 pm to midnight, but my wife and children were tired, so we went to bed without taking a shower or drinking water. I hope this doesn't happen again. The room rate is not cheap.
