Located a short walk from the station, this would be considered a slightly higher level of business hotel. Beds are comfortable but breakfast is expensive compared to other hotels (2000 yen). There are a few restaurants nearby though

Love the location. Within mins of walking from the station. The room is very clean and the amenities are full range self service.

The room is clean and spacious enough to have multiple luggages. The bed is confrtable. The staff is really helpful 🙂

Wonderful hotel, very clean, comfortable and great location. The front desk staff was just lovely and made us feel very welcomed and helped us with parking our bicycles in a secure and sheltered area. 100% would come back.

I flew from Shanghai to Japan to see the cherry blossoms on the weekend. After arriving in Tokyo, I took the Shinkansen to Joetsu-Myoko in Niigata Prefecture. This hotel is near Takata Station, and it is still a little far from the Shinkansen Joetsu-Myoko Station. It takes about 10-15 minutes by taxi, or you can take a regular train. However, if you go to Takata Castle to see the flowers, I recommend staying at this hotel. It is a 20-minute walk from Takata Castle, and the cherry blossoms along the way are also beautiful. The hotel has good facilities, the service is good in Japanese standards, and they can help call a taxi. The breakfast is also rich, and you can eat well. Recommended!

I chose these hotels because I wanted to enjoy the night cherry blossoms at the Joetsuda Castle Park. When I booked the room, there were only smoking rooms, so the smell in the room was not very pleasant, but it was not the hotel's fault.

Amenities...I was happy to receive cleansing cream, bath salts, coffee, throat lozenges, etc. It was clean and the staff were friendly. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel is old, and the soundproofing is not good. You can hear the snoring next door at night. The price has increased a lot during the cherry blossom season. There is a Lawson opposite and several small restaurants around. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the station and 1 minute to walk to the express bus station. The geographical advantage is obvious. There is no choice for small places. The front desk is still very friendly.

Great location, great trouser press, and I appreciated that they had smoking rooms.

The breakfast was delicious and as expected, but everything else was disappointing. It was a hot day for mid-November, but the heating was on throughout the building and it was unbearable. The elevator hall was like hot air? It was so hot. The room was also hot, so I asked the front desk, but they said they would open the window or lend me a fan, and they wouldn't turn off the air conditioning. (Please change the setting based on the temperature, not the season.) I had no choice but to sleep with the window open (but it was still hot), and the convenience store in front of the hotel was a hangout spot for young, rowdy people after drinking, and it was noisy until late at night, so it was hard to deal with the heat and noise. (It would be better to have a room that doesn't face the convenience store.) Also, when I arrived, I paid for the affiliated parking lot at the front desk and received a settlement ticket, but when I put it through the settlement machine when I left, it showed that the fee was insufficient, so I paid it myself and settled the difference at the front desk. I think they handed me a discount ticket instead of the settlement ticket the night before, but I was annoyed when they asked me to sign for the difference without any apology. (The documents to be signed were prepared, and I was impressed by how well prepared they were.)

The hotel parking lot is a bit far from the hotel, and it is a bit troublesome to get the luggage to the hotel when it rains; the counter service staff provides standardized services and does not feel friendly; the only point is that the location is moderate, close to the train station and bus station, the restaurant service staff has a friendly attitude, and the breakfast dishes meet the needs

There was construction going on outside, but it didn't affect the inside. Breakfast is recommended!
