"Pros: the room is quite big, you can check in as early as 7am, the front desk service is also good, and the price/performance ratio is very high. Cons: the decoration is too old, the glass door of the bathroom is full of dirt, and the towels have been used for a long time and are very rough. "This hotel was truly amazing! The room felt incredibly fresh upon entering, and the bedding was spotless. It was a truly comfortable stay. Fruit and milk were provided, and a late-night snack was even offered.
And our housekeeper, Li Ping, was incredibly friendly! From the moment we arrived, she greeted us warmly and patiently guided us. We also had quick and thoughtful responses to any small requests. For example, when I asked about nearby restaurants, she even gave us detailed recommendations for reputable ones. She was incredibly thoughtful. When I forgot something at the hotel, she even reached out and helped me return it. It was truly heartwarming!"

GGuest UserA small refrigerator, a small dehumidifier, and an automatic sensor night light are all necessary.
The TV should be 65 inches, and the bed should be comfortable...all available, meeting all-season standards.
If you really want to find fault with it, there are probably two.
1. The shower water can only control hot and cold water, but cannot control the water output. From turning off to hot water, it must pass through cold water, which is not suitable for turning on and off the water saving switch during showering.

PPhilip BreitensteinVery nice hotel in Jiayuguan. The room is nice, clean and the bed is very good. There are plenty of nice restaurants for food close by. The staff is nice and helpfully but as elsewhere in China, when asking if there is a bus to somewhere they will tell you to take a taxi.
There is a bus (bus 6) that goes directly to the Fort, it literally stops in front of the hotel and it costs one Yuan (pay cash; no Alipay or Weixin in the bus but a different app). You can also rent a HelloRide scooter to get around. You can't get to the Overhanging Wall and the First Beacon with the scooter (it is outside of the service area; so you have to take a taxi since there is actually no bus there 😊 ).

Good location relatively close to the fortress and on the way to the wall. Plenty of food options around and more within 1 Km around.
The staff at the reception were so helpful. No English spoken but with all the apps communication is not a big issue. It just take more time 🤔😅
The room was big. Great bathroom. A lot of space and storage available. Good air conditioning system.
Breakfast was simply delicious and every day there were different items available. Not much western food but anyway Chinese food is healthier. Staff there was lovely.
The fitness area is a bit minimalist.
Self laundry is available and works great.
I will return for sure.
A Personal tip to people visiting Jiayuguan: I suggest getting to the wall first thing in the morning after breakfast. Taxis is the only option.In July 2024 the price I paid (Meter as usual) was 26 Yuans. After visiting that place take a taxi to the fortress (Jiayu pass) as it is on the way to the city anyway. The cost was 11 Yuans and it is very close to the fortress unlike the main ticket office located 2 Km away (where the bus nr 4 stops).
Further tip if you like HotPot restaurants the NanjiaXiang is a great choice at a very reasonable price. It is 800 meters away from the hotel.

It is also close to the Gayogwan Jangseong Fortress. There is a No. 12 bus that goes to Gayogwan Nam Station right there, and there is a washing machine that you can use for free.

🏠The hotel has a great location. The Datang Food Festival in the city center is a few minutes' walk away. There are four bus lines at the door that go directly to Jiayuguan Pass Scenic Area. It is also very convenient to transfer to South Station High-speed Railway Station.
🧑🤝🧑The reception staff has a professional and rigorous work attitude. The hospitality is warm and friendly. ✨I am a French citizen and the hotel will help me register with the immigration department. Chinese citizens travelling with you only need to show their ID cards to check in quickly.
🚽The room is fully equipped with basic facilities: air conditioning, shower, hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo, disposable and reusable slippers, etc.
All in all, worth recommending and collecting! 👍🏿🤠

After all, for self-driving people, there is not much in such a small city with such a short distance. GGuest UserThe house is okay, there is nothing to choose from. From the boss to the waiters, they are all very enthusiastic. It is opposite the East Lake. If you have plenty of time, you can go around. The only bad thing is the sensor light. It comes on inexplicably in the middle of the night. The boss can improve it and it will be perfect.

However there were around 10 mid-size blue spots on the white bedsheets that looked very suspicious
The walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything the other bedrooms are saying… Or doing…
Additional details that is not that important but the accumulation makes it annoying is that there is no bathroom matte so it’s quite slippery when you leave the shower

The room is air-conditioned and the bathroom is separated from wet and dry areas. The children said the bathroom is like a space capsule, which is very interesting. Breakfast says milk, yogurt, bread, eggs. You can set your own time at the front desk, which ends at 10 o'clock. If you arrive late, there may be no milk and yogurt. Overall it's pretty good.
