Wuliu Hotel is located on the edge of Shaxi Old Town, which means you will be conveniently located and have a restful night sleep. The hotel is beautiful and well managed. We would definitely stay again! We loved the stay and the old town.

A must stay place if u visit to Shaxi Ancient Town

Location is great — just at the edge of the street where cars can go so we only needed to pull our luggage for less than a minute. The place is very well-run. They are organized and have materials in both English and Chinese to ensure they cook the breakfast you prefer (they give you a choice of Chinese or Western breakfast). With our family of 4, we got 2 Chinese and 2 Western breakfasts and they all turned out well because they make them fresh as you sit down. They also have a balcony and tea room on the second floor which is so peaceful and calming to be in. Highly recommend! You can probably find cheaper lodging elsewhere (such as inside the ancient town itself) but the quality and proximity of this inn makes it worth it.

Wuliu is such a beautiful hotel in the village and the vibe matches with the quiteness and slow-temple of the village as well. The staff is so friendly and has amazing Chinese breakfast. We had so much fun and relax there

A lovely hotel in a perfect location in Shaxi village. The staff are very helpful, the breakfast is delicious and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped.

Comfortable, spacious, and the details of the layout reflect the ethnic characteristics everywhere. In particular, the two bayberry trees in the courtyard add a bit of scenery to the early summer! Friendly to the elderly, a bathing seat is prepared for the elderly, and the toilet is an electrically controlled heated bathing version. Hot milk every night can help you sleep. The two cakes of Pu'er tea paste in the small tea pot in the room taste great! The service sisters are all simple local people. There are books in the public space on the second floor, especially one of them, "Reading Time in Shaxi". It is recommended to read it before visiting Shaxi, which will make this trip more profound. If some experience projects can be added, such as making flower cakes by hand, it will be more abundant.

The homestay recommended by a friend is really great. It's the first time I stayed in an antique wooden house with local Bai characteristics. It's very quiet and has a good view. Next to it is the Heihui River with wind blowing on your face and willows swaying. The transportation is also relatively convenient. You can get there in a few steps after getting off the bus. It's suitable for carrying a large suitcase. The hotel is equipped with fruits, hot milk for sleeping (still in a thermos), toothpicks, and laundry detergent, which is very considerate~ I stayed for two nights and caught a flight early on the third day. The housekeeper also thoughtfully packed breakfast for us to eat on the way

I stayed in Shaxi Ancient Town for three nights. The experience of staying in Wuliu was very, very good! Let's talk about the location first. It is close to the parking lot, and it is within a 5-minute walk from Yujin Bridge and the East Gate of the Ancient City. The best thing is that the ancient city is within reach but outside the ancient city, just isolating the noise of the ancient city bar. When you get up in the morning, you can hear the gurgling stream, the birds and insects, which really has the meaning of Wuliu's paradise. My parents said that every night is very good. The second is the service. Maybe it is a low season stay. There are actually few service staff in the entire homestay, but during the stay, each housekeeper brought us warm and thoughtful service, and my parents were particularly impressed by them. The housekeeper also recommended several local restaurants. They are all delicious restaurants, much better than what we found ourselves. The homestay is a renovation of an old house. To be honest, wooden houses will have more or less light and ventilation problems, but there is one thing to say, sleeping at night does not have much impact, and it will not feel depressed. It is really pleasant to sit in the corridor in the afternoon to drink tea and listen to the wind. A good stay experience will really add points to your trip. Our whole family has left very good memories of this trip to Shaxi. We started to miss it as soon as we left!

I can’t say that there is no problem at all, but I can’t help it because it is a structural problem of the old house. Fortunately, the room is large, and there is no room close to each other. In addition, the yard is quiet. If you meet guests with public morality, there will be basically no disturbance. This is better than many high-priced B&Bs. It is very important to have a good sleep. 3. When we checked in, we were received by a sister named Li. She also served breakfast for the next two days. She was very enthusiastic and diligent. It can be seen that the boss and employees attach great importance to the guest experience. After breakfast, she asked if we slept well the night before. Every night milk was delivered to the room in a thermos cup in advance. Also, breakfast is a set meal system, Western and Chinese. I chose Chinese. This bowl of rice noodles is the best rice noodles I have ever eaten. I have eaten rice noodles several times before, and the taste and flavor scared me.
