There was a weird vibe at this hotel, whole the location was great (super close to Aya Sophie and Blue Mosque) for this price I think you could do better elsewhere.

Excellent location & good food on breakfast & others ,nice place

Great hotel, great location, breakfasts (buffet) with a view of the Bosphorus, friendly staff, daily cleaning. Yes, some things in the room are "tired", but these are such trifles in the general background. We lived on the 4th floor with a view of the city and even the Blue Mosque. We arrived at the end of October, the weather was comfortable, there are definitely no complaints about the hotel.

The service at the front desk was good, smiling service, but at 11 o'clock in the morning, I was sleeping and someone knocked on the door. I asked what was going on in English. It was obvious that the people outside knew that there was someone inside. Shockingly, the next second, the people outside used the room card to open the door for me. I was so panicked about the door. It should be the cleaning staff but she didn't speak English. She looked into the room and closed the door. I had already checked that the check-out time was twelve o'clock. I don't understand why the cleaning staff knew there was someone in the room. Opened my door without asking permission. This was the worst experience I had in Turkey. Although the location of this hotel is good, the price is high and not worth the price. So this hotel is still available when other hotels are fully booked. Room

Located between the Blue Mosque and the embankment (5 minutes in each direction) - that is, the main attractions are within walking distance and you can enjoy a walk along the sea. The walk to the tram takes 13-15 minutes, keep this in mind if you plan to visit other areas - this is the most convenient way to move around Istanbul. There is indeed a terrace overlooking the sea and the domes of the Blue Mosque. It's very nice to have breakfast. About breakfasts: even if you don’t eat Turkish fried and spicy breakfast, you can have a normal breakfast: omelet, cheeses, cornflakes with yogurt, cucumbers, tomatoes, fruits, cookies. I would especially like to note the nut sauce - it’s a special feature, it’s very pleasing. The coffee could have been better, of course. “Juice” is a terrible chemistry. You can also have dinner here, but the prices are the same as in the rest of Sultanahmet and not everything that is stated in the menu and wine list is available. Important: within a 5-minute walk there is a cafe and restaurant (differing in the presence or absence of alcohol) with a view of the sea and reasonable prices (better than in the entire area). Cozy rooms in soothing colors. New bed linen (at least I had). They cleaned and supplied water every day (although they put up a sign). Bumblebee gels are available. The guys are calm, self-possessed, and friendly. The comrade who speaks Russian let us down a little - as if he was always a little irritated. Attention ! Something that is not on booking sites: the window of the “standard” room opens into a gloomy well about 2x2 meters with the same window from another room opposite; with all that it implies. Quite noisy outdoor air conditioning units are installed in the same well. Yes, and it smells of something not very pleasant. I was not aware of such a “surprise”. This is a clear flaw in Trip.com - hotels should not be allowed to hide such important information. Overall: clean, cozy, in the heart of Istanbul and breakfasts overlooking the sea.

Great location near Hagia Sophia! ! 3-5 minutes walk to Blue Mosque Sophia The front desk staff is very friendly and can arrange taxis for you. You can overlook the seaside from the breakfast venue, and it is very fantastic with birds coming to the side of the table. Small hotel in a prime location for visiting the main attractions of Istanbul, close to many restaurants and shops. Rooms not very large, but furnished with good oriental style. Breakfast by buffet with a wide choice of sweet, savory and fruit, served on the terrace overlooking the Blue Mosque. High quality/price ratio. The room smelled a bit stale and the cleanliness needs to be improved.

Mevlana is a cozy hotel which located in a nice neighborhood. The staff are friendly. Baris and biderhan is very helpful I recommend this hotel , and will back here agian. You will be happy here. Nice location , clean room , good breakfast Enjoy your time

It was the 3rd time I’ve been in Istanbul and I can definitely recommend this hotel as one of the best. Stuff is very nice and kind. Room conditions were on a higher level, breakfasts were terrific.I can’t but thank the receptionist who really did his best to make our trip unforgettable and stressless. Teşekkürler!

The Hotel is amazing and has an amazing view from the top at the restaurant. Food super delicious. The room very warm and clean. The staff is super friendly and ready to help with everything you may need. We stayed 3 nights and we are thinking to come back again in the summer because the location is fantastic and only 5-7 mins away from the Blu Mosque. We suggest to all to try the best hospitality that this hotel gives to all of Guests. See you guys soon. EDIOLA & MATT

I booked Mevlana Hotel for a week. When I reached to the hotel was 23:30 pm and I was so tired. Upon entering the hotel, I noticed that the hotel was very dirty, unsuitable, and completely different from the photos. When I entered the room, I immediately regretted it because the room was so small that I had no place for my clothes and luggage. And the unpleasant smell of sewage was annoying. I had to stay at the Mevlana Hotel for one night, because I could not look for a new hotel that night because I was so tired and it was too late. This hotel is a dishonest and the photos are completely different from reality. I informed the reception (Mr. Bedirhan) in the morning that I would cancel the reservation because it was completely far from what I was expecting. He got very aggressive and brutal, he threatened me while I told him kindly about the fact that the hotel was completely out of my expectations and he got angry and threatened and forced me to pay the whole one week amount to him. While in their policy was mentioned that In case of cancellation, the money will be deducted overnight. He insulted me and my partner several times and I warned him that it was wrong to treat a guest and a foreigner like that, and he continued to threaten us badly. Finally I left there while I was crying and paid two night to him. It was the worst experience of me in a travel and unfortunatly I found them by ***********. After cancelation I was not able to write anything for them because there was not any survey for me anymore and I preferred to complain from them here.
