I liked the hotel very much. Convenient location: 5-7 minutes from the Yenikapı metro station and 2 tram stops Aksaray and Laleli University. The Blue Mosque is literally 2 stops away by tram. The room was cleaned well. Friendly staff. The reception staff speak Russian, they tell you everything (where to eat, change money, how to get there and where is the best place to go), I took a tour of Istanbul from them on the first day, the prices are the same as everywhere else. When checking in, I was offered 2 rooms to choose from: on the first floor with a double bed and on the sixth with two small ones. I chose the sixth one because I liked the view from the window (you can even see the Sea of Marmara in the distance) and it is quieter there. Due to the fact that the hotel is located in a shopping area, street noise can be heard in the room, so if you are a light sleeper, I advise you to stock up on earplugs. The noise did not bother me. I had heard about the bad wi-fi in Istanbul before the trip, but in Grand Madrid it broke the system and exceeded all expectations, and became the main reason why I decided to stay there for 2 more days. I was able to work online for 6-7 hours without network interruptions. And for work, I had conferences in zoom, for which good internet is needed. In general, the internet is +100 to the rating. The restaurant with a magnificent view is the next strong point of this hotel. On the first day, when I came for breakfast, I could not get enough of this view. There is a terrace. Breakfasts are monotonous, but delicious. And frankly speaking, at home I have been eating the same breakfast every day for several years, so I will definitely not write off the monotonous breakfast as a minus. A special like for the halva, it just melts in your mouth. Of the shortcomings, I can only note the noise from the street and sometimes conversations in the corridor were heard. In general, the soundproofing is weak. For someone this may be a problem, for me it was not. And as someone wrote, the motion sensor in the bathroom, after the first switch on works for about 10 seconds and switches off, you have to wave and then it works without interruptions. But that's if you're really picky. It didn't bother me. In general, I recommend the hotel 100%, and if I go to Istanbul again, I'll stay with them again.
