"We stayed at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama for our honeymoon for 3 nights and 4 days, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. My wife absolutely loved everything about this hotel, and so did I. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed by Wike from the front office, and she truly made our stay extra special. She was always smiling, respectful, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. She even offered us free activities and vouchers, which was such a nice touch. The biggest surprise was that we got upgraded to the Executive Suite, the highest room category in the hotel. Huge thanks to Wike for making our honeymoon unforgettable! The room itself was unbelievable. Beautiful views, a huge living room, separate bedroom, and an amazing bathroom with a bathtub overlooking the view. Everything felt luxurious and very comfortable. Since it was our honeymoon, the room was also beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with a fruit basket, which made us feel really special. Breakfast was another highlight. The variety was insane so many options that we honestly didn’t know what to choose. Everything we tried was delicious. One thing that really stood out was the staff. I’ve traveled quite a lot, but the service here felt different. Every single staff member we met smiled, greeted us warmly, checked if everything was okay, and helped immediately whenever needed. You can really feel the genuine hospitality here. We also received a complimentary photoshoot from the hotel, which was such a lovely experience. The photographer was great, and we even got a printed photo in a frame to take home as a memory. The only disappointing part during our stay was the Teppanyaki experience at the Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The chef only cooked in front of us without any interaction or entertainment, and when I tried making conversation, she seemed annoyed. Considering how expensive it was, it honestly felt very underwhelming. I personally wouldn’t recommend the Teppanyaki experience there. Other than that, everything was truly amazing. Even though I don’t remember everyone’s names, thank you to every single staff member who made our honeymoon so memorable. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again. "During my stay, I found the hotel's location to be very convenient, as it is close to malls, markets, and many dining options. However, there were a few disappointing aspects. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor, the room cleanliness could be improved, and surprisingly, there was no iron available for guests. This is the first time I have experienced something like this at a hotel."

"I really love staying at Aston Malang! First, it's close to everything. The hotel staff are friendly, and finally, the hotel food is varied and delicious, especially with nasi kebuli and kabsah available for breakfast every morning – I always go back for seconds! No regrets choosing Aston Malang for our stay when we were frantically searching for a boarding house for our child. If we come back to Malang, we'll definitely stay here again! 😊"

"Stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Overall, the place was clean and looked new. Room was clean and relatively spacious. There were only a few, small issues that prevented this from being an all 5 star review. Firstly, sound proofing was bad. I could hear what my neighbours were watching on TV at night, and as we were facing the pool, we could also hear when people were running around there. Secondly, the lifts were really slow and narrow for a seemingly new hotel. The first day I arrived, 2 out of 3 lifts were not working. And the lifts themselves were very narrow and uncomfortable to be in when there were more than 5 persons in the lift. Lastly, the kettle provided in the room was faulty, it didn't stop boiling unless you pressed it manually, making it a bit dangerous for guests who are unaware. But like I said, these just irked me, and other guests may not feel the same way. Overall still a very pleasant stay and good amenities all around."

"The environment here is great, perfect for families with kids looking for a relaxing vacation. We stayed for two days and were extremely satisfied. The room was comfortable, a lake-view room where we could feed the goldfish right from our window. We also enjoyed cycling around the resort with the kids. In the evenings, there were vendors passing by our room selling delicious snacks, which the kids absolutely loved. We all thought it was a fantastic trip!"

"Location is a peaceful and quiet and you get a good view of the mountains in the day. However you might probably need to use gojek to get some food in if you are hungry for a snack at night. Apart from that it is a great space with 2 generously big swimming pools and many viewing decks. It is also 15 minutes away from the famous boulevard kayutangan"

"I've stayed here twice, the price is highly recommended, the cleanliness is very clean, the staff are friendly, the facilities are good, the AC is really cold, really great. FYI, prepare 100k because when you check in you have to make a deposit first. The downside is there is no elevator so if you get a room upstairs you have to climb the stairs. but it's okay, I highly recommend staying here. Next time I go to Malang, I will stay here again!!✨"

"We experienced a delay during check-in because the housekeeping wasn't finished yet. Eventually, we got a room (they said it was an upgraded type) but it had twin beds, even though we originally booked a queen bed. The facilities are good, just missing a laundry bag :( Oh, and the swimming pool is actually great because it's spacious and long, but the chlorine is too strong, which makes it uncomfortable for the eyes and mouth, even though the water in Malang should be fresh 😬 The location is very strategic, though it's a bit confusing to find the entrance as it's behind Transmart."

"We arrived as early as 11AM and thankfully given early check in. Any hotel that did this is 5 stars in my book! Room and bathroom were clean. Drinkable water can be obtained from dispenser in the hallway. Breakfast was nice! Great selection of food, snacks, pastries, cereals, etc. Hotel location is in the heart of the city. Probably the only minus point was, as a property the hotel is not the most spacious, so less parking area available. Bunch of cars tend to queue in the morning picking up the outgoing guests."
