Great location. A short walk to/from harbour bay ferry station, all sheltered so no worries even if it is raining. Beside the hotel is a decent shopping centre with lots of foods and snacks.

Convenient location, just what we need for a short getaway in the city area and occasional longer trips out to seaside. Breakfast spread is great, room is clean, bed is medium firm and comfy. Only thing was that the handheld shower head was leaking, but we were fine with using the wall mounted shower head.

I had a bad experience during my stay. I booked two Triple Deluxe Rooms under my name — one through Agoda and the other through Trip.com. Upon check-in at 3pm, I provided six passports and was told we would be given connecting rooms, but one room was not ready and would be available in the next 30 minutes. That was fine with us, and all six of us went up to Room 1228. However, when we entered, it was a Double Room with only one bed. We immediately went back to the reception to ask why we were given a Double instead of a Triple Room. The staff said they would add an extra bed, but I made it clear that I expected a proper Triple Room with one double bed and one single bed, as shown in the booking. If I had known it was an add-on bed arrangement, I would not have booked this hotel. Only after my feedback did they change our room to 1718, which we were satisfied with. At around 3:45pm, three of us went down to collect the key for the second room, but were told it was still not ready. When I asked when it would be available, the staff replied they were not sure — maybe another hour. I was very disappointed. It was already close to 4pm and the room should have been ready by now. I expressed my dissatisfaction, and only then did they suddenly say the room was ready, and gave us Room 1716. It left me questioning the service quality of the hotel. On Day 2, after returning from a half-day trip around 6pm, none of our room cards worked at the lift. Both rooms’ cards were invalid. We had no choice but to go back to the reception and were told it was a card error. New cards were reissued to us. Overall, this was a disappointing experience for me, and I would not recommend this hotel. Service and room arrangements were not up to standard.

Hotel is very near to the Harbour Bay ferry terminal and newly renovated . Room and the balcony is huge and clean. The only downside is the door doesn’t shut properly . There’s a small gap between the door frame . There’s a massage place too at the hotel and service is very good. Will consider to stay in again on my next trip to Batam .

Hotel is old but rooms are clean, toilet is very big. Breakfast spread has a lot of choices. Down side of this stay is we were put in a room beside another one undergoing renovation works so the chemical smells that came into our room (also perhaps through the centralised A/C system) was not pleasant. Counter staff are helpful and friendly, initially couldn't find our booking via trip.com but managed to find it after. Also let us have an early check-in (we went on an off-peak wednesday noon) Location is near harbour bay ferry terminal and easy to Grab/Gojek elsewhere. However no popular attractions/main malls within walking distance. The hotel provides free shuttle services to main malls at fixed timings, which is a plus. Pluses and minuses but in view of the really affordable price, overall a good stay.

Excellent stay at Yello Hotel Harbour Bay Batam! The room was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room amenities were sufficient for a pleasant stay. The location is perfect — just a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal, very convenient for travelers. The hotel environment feels safe and quiet. Staff were very friendly, polite, and always ready to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service, cleanliness, and convenience. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again for my next trip to Batam!

Needed a massage getaway to Batam. I previously stayed at Aston and was quite happy, but the price at the time of my visit was around 2x the usual due to the holiday season. I paid only around 50 sgd, really affordable for a king size room with a bathtub and sofa in the room. Property itself is older and in a way less clean than Aston but the breakfast was way better.

Worth the stay. Hotel is near all the night life spots. And delicious local food easily found at the door step. Very attention staff and English speaking!

The hotel staffs are very accomodating and warm with their guests. The location is near Nagoya Hill Mall and Spas. However, the only concern I have is that the rooms are not noise proof. As the hotel is located at the corner of the roads, vehicles are heard clearly that causes me not to get to sleep. We raise our concern and we're moved to another room the next day. The room had the same concern but we really appreciate their effort.
