"First time staying at a B&B and it was a great experience! The train station is close by, as is the city center, and the surrounding area is really convenient. Especially handy for Moor Street Station, where you can catch the train to Shakespeare's birthplace – don't go to the wrong one! The large shopping mall has a fantastic design too! "Staff friendly and welcoming. They kindly arranged a complimentary birthday treat in the room. Grateful for that. Room was clean, spacious enough with 2x double beds. Bathroom With shower clean. Breakfast was lovely. Really enjoyed our stay."

"Staff very friendly and welcoming. Hotel room was alright considering we stayed for couple nights only. Me and my daughter came back to hotel late in the evening. It is only 10 minutes walk from the railway station but we took a taxi as one area near hotel didn't feel completely safe as there is a spot where some homeless people spend their time. I wouldn't expect anything extra from budget hotel."

"Good value in general and the room was clean and comfortable. There was however no coffee/ tea facilities in room and no toiletries except for a very small amount of multi purpose hand soap, which wasn't refreshed during the stay. Whilst the charge for left luggage was only £2 per bag, they charged even for a couple of seperate plastic carrier bags, which seemed a bit unreasonable. Apart from that, the overall cost of the stay was inexpensive."

"It was within walking distance 5 minutes to the train station It was also within walking distance 7 minutes to the Conference Centre I had great conversations with a very friendly receptionist who checked me in was at the desk most times when I was going out and she checked me out... In the interim the other receptionist came upstairs to let me know nicely and politely that my Taxi was waiting. Another girl receptionist was also very friendly she let me have a complimentary cup of tea after the machine failed to give me a full cup when I paid I was very well looked after. Being where it is near the station and the conference center I will defnitely stay there again."

"I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed with several aspects of my stay. Upon arrival, I noticed what appeared to be blood stains on the curtains, hair left on the towel/flannel in the bathroom, and marks on the table surfaces. I have attached photographs for reference, as I feel these are basic housekeeping standards that should have been checked prior to a guest arriving. I also experienced multiple issues with food and service during my stay. I ordered a charcuterie board, however the Parma ham and other cured meats appeared dried out, discoloured and no longer fresh. Unfortunately, after eating it, I also felt unwell afterwards, which was particularly concerning. Later, when ordering dinner, I asked for a croque monsieur but the staff member repeatedly did not understand the order, despite me explaining it was a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. I was eventually advised to order a panini instead. Additionally, I ordered truffle fries but was informed they were unavailable. I agreed to normal fries, however what arrived were heavily seasoned thick-cut chips which were completely different from what I expected and unfortunately not enjoyable. Another issue was the iron provided in the room, which had black residue/staining on it and ended up marking my top, which was very frustrating. As I had booked the stay primarily to relax and enjoy a quiet evening in the room with room service, it was disappointing that the overall experience did not feel comfortable or enjoyable. What disappointed me further was that upon check-out, nobody asked how my stay was or whether everything had been satisfactory, despite the multiple issues experienced throughout my visit. I wanted to bring this to your attention as I do not usually complain, however I felt the overall standard of cleanliness, food quality and service fell below expectations. Kind regards, Karolina"

"Hyatt Rengency Hotel Birmingham is a very nice and cozy hotel with great facilities. It offers halal food, and prayer mats are available upon request, which I really appreciated. The leisure facilities are lovely, with a heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and spa. However, my stay was let down by the fact that the room did not have a smart TV as mentioned on the website, which caused a lot of wasted time considering that I planned to stay in most of the times. The hotel eventually upgraded us (to a similar room just a few floors higher) after several contact made to reception and a long wait, but I’m grateful to Kenza for her assistance. On checkout, Nandini was very kind and offered support for my next visit as a gesture for the inconvenience. There's also an issue with parking, which operates on a first come first serve basis. So if you park your car on day 1 and say you're staying for 3 days, you have to pay for the parking for 3 days ahead which is £27 for 24hr. During these days if you happen to take your car out and come back with no free parking space, you lose your money. Your slot is not reserved. It would be better if they charge us for parking when we are leaving the car park rather than making us pay in advance. Overall, a comfortable hotel with excellent amenities, but clearer information on room facilities would have made the stay much smoother. I would have come better prepared."

"it was lovely. very clean. the room was small but we appreciated it. i had the room with nowindow but i don’t think that was a problem. everything was really fresh. only thing i didnt like was that the bathroom was a wet room so its really difficult to shower without soaking up the sink and toilet and whole room really"

"I enjoyed, the views of the city, and the ability to see my car in the car park below, the room was clean, the wifi was easy to connect to, and the bed although, firm, was comfortable. Breakfast was good with a varied choice, I did have to swap out my chair at the table however as the one I had felt much too low for eating.."

"The hotel is decent, and the location is quite convenient. The front desk service was just okay. Breakfast selection was a bit limited, but the taste was pretty good. Transportation is very convenient, especially for getting to the train station. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a local experience."
