Taitung Hotels with Wifi

"Pool was under maintenance during the period of stay. Location though at night market was still a distance away from railway station. Taxi fare abt TWD220. There was hotel shuttle service but no clear instructions on how to book in advance. Info not available on trip.com. Concierge staff did not readily offer the service also. Was told only available to members. Not for 3rd party booking. Am disappointed. Room was spacious. 2 queen size beds. But toilet and bathroom were small. Head will hit the door if I sit at toilet bowl and lean just a bit forward. The bathroom door hits the rain shower head, so if not notice, and open the door with force may break the glass door. Yellow lights in the room were very dim. Make ambience cozy and classy but very straining to the eyes. 2 out of 3 laundry machines out of order. Laundry powder did not dispense from vending machine. Hv to change coins at lobby when laundry is at 6th floor. Overall, not quite up to expectations unfortunately."

"We had a fantastic stay! The room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Highly recommend!"

"This place is located minutes from the beach and minutes for the city so it’s a great location. The rooms are very clean and the access is safe and secure. There is free coffee and a microwave on the ground floor. The only drawback (and it’s huge to a solo traveler booking forward legs of a journey) is that the WiFi is awful ! The connection is good on the ground floor but I was on the third floor and this proved very frustrating. I was informed that the reception was “poor by the window of the room”. It was poor in every part of the room ! If they get this sorted it would be a full 5 star accommodation ….. it’s really a nice place (Room 301) …"

"The hotel's location is super convenient. You can borrow bicycles to explore Taitung City, and there's parking available both in front and behind the hotel, which makes it easy for guests to come and go and unload luggage. In the evening, they have a late-night snack service with a rich selection of savory and sweet items, drinks, and beer. It's really enjoyable to have a good meal and a few drinks – so relaxing!"

"The service at this hotel was outstanding; I absolutely loved it. The breakfast spread offered a huge variety, making it very accommodating for different dietary preferences. They also had family-friendly activities, like the hands-on experience of pounding traditional rice cakes (nian gao)."

"We stayed in a very clean and comfortable double deluxe room on the 6th floor. Bed was maybe a little hard, but still cosy thanks to the fantastic duvet. Our room had a decent view towards the mountains in the north-west. We paid the small extra charge for buffet breakfast when booking, and were satisfied with the choices of food available. Breakfast is taken on the 10F, and this restaurant has nice views towards the ocean."

"I found this place during a last-minute trip to Taitung. Both the main entrance and guest rooms have electronic locks; you just scan a code, no keys needed, which is very convenient. There's an elevator and a water dispenser, making it very easy to move luggage – a feature that surpasses many small guesthouses. The room has a minimalist style that I like, the environment is very clean, and the lighting and ventilation are excellent. The pillows, comforters, and mattress are also very comfortable, which is very important. Although breakfast isn't included, finding food nearby isn't difficult; and although there's no parking, street parking isn't hard to find. If I come to Taitung again, I will definitely stay here again – highly recommended."

"I think the biggest draw and benefit of visiting Dongyuji is soaking in the hot springs to unwind after a long day. Dongyuji's spa area is truly enormous (even larger than Dongtai). Adults can choose from a variety of hot springs, and children also have plenty of pools to choose from! I personally love hotels with saunas and hot springs! Dongyuji's park is also quite large, so early risers won't have to worry about running out of space! There's even a camping area!"

"Overall, the hotel is generally good, especially for the spa and hot spring service. However, the hotel is quite dated and some of its facilities are quite old. The pillows in the room is very flat and hard to sleep on. For the location, the hotel is located quite far away from Zhiben Station so travelling to the resort can be quite a hassle. But the hotel does provide free shuttle service but you have to pre book beforehand."

"Very cheap but definitely of good value. The rooms are spacious, just not that many amenities (but that’s totally ok for the price). The hotel is located next to the railway, but we didn’t have any problem sleeping."
