Nanhu Hotel

Great hotel! The diving area in their pool is too shallow, only about 1 meter deep, and the pool is a bit narrow. It would be even better if they had a sauna. Also, a moisture-proof bench near the elevators on the third floor would be a nice touch. And one more thing, the faucets in the bathroom are too smooth. It would be more practical and convenient to have faucets with some grip, as it's hard to turn them when your hands are soapy. Everything else was perfect, especially the service! Everyone was smiling and spoke kindly. A very pleasant stay! 👍

Traveling during off-peak season, and staying for two nights, plus it was my birthday, so a big thank you to the front desk for upgrading my room! My room had a view of the iconic HaoGu Pagoda. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the lake area, making it convenient to visit Nanhu World, Zicheng Ruins Park, and the Catholic Church. The hotel's garden design is so lovely, it could be a tourist attraction itself. From the front desk to the guest rooms, and the staff at the breakfast, Chinese, and Japanese restaurants, everyone was very welcoming and provided excellent service. The room cleaning on the second day was thorough and not sloppy at all. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and even after two days, there was barely any repetition. Overall, it was a very good stay.

The hotel's location is excellent. On the first night we checked in, it was a bit tricky to find the underground parking guidance. It was a thoughtful touch that we could use the afternoon tea included in the package after check-out. During the May Day holiday, Yanlaitang had various activities in the afternoon, and the kids enjoyed them so much they didn't want to leave the hotel.

This hotel is right next to Nanhu Lake, offering absolutely stunning views. It was March in Jiangnan, so the peach blossoms were vibrant, the willows were lush, and a gentle spring breeze was blowing – the kids had a wonderful time. There's a private entrance from the hotel directly to Nanhu Lake; you just use your room key to get in and out, which is super convenient. You can also visit Wuxiang Temple for free, and from the pagoda, you get panoramic views of Jiaxing city and Nanhu Lake. The hotel breakfast was good, and the green rice dumplings were quite tasty.

The serene environment seamlessly blends garden landscapes with the lake scenery. • Convenient for getting around, it's adjacent to the South Lake Tiandi commercial district, easily reachable by a short walk, balancing both tranquility and leisure. 2. Rich Historical and Cultural Heritage • The hotel itself carries historical memories, with some areas retaining traditional architectural styles, allowing guests to experience a strong cultural atmosphere during their stay. • It's close to 'red' historical sites like the South Lake Revolution Memorial Hall, which is very convenient for guests interested in visiting such attractions. 3. Overall Service and Facilities • As a long-standing high-star hotel, the service team is professional and responsive. • Facilities are generally well-maintained. Although some areas might show a slight sense of age, cleanliness and comfort are guaranteed. 4. Dining and Experience • Breakfast is varied, and the local specialty pastries are worth trying. • Some restaurants offer scenic views, enhancing the dining experience.

Another stay at Nanhu Hotel, and once again, the spacious corridors and rooms were perfect for our family member using a wheelchair. A morning stroll by the lake offered crisp, fresh air, which my elderly relative really enjoyed. The staff were proactive in greeting us, and even a maintenance worker, seeing the wheelchair, stopped to ask if we needed any help. We truly felt at home. We all agreed: we'll definitely be back next year.

Location: Situated north of Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing, the hotel boasts its own 'Eight Scenic Views' and beautiful garden design. From the back exit, you can directly access Haogu Pagoda. A pleasant stroll along the lake will take you past attractions like Lanxiu Garden, Chenggong Embankment, and Shaoyuan, eventually leading to Huijingyuan. From there, you can take a boat (the only place offering a 20-yuan ferry) to Huxin Island, and finally, head to Nanhu Tiandi for a meal. Service: The hotel maintains strict quality control. They thoroughly checked the cleanliness, which meant our room was ready a bit late, but they compensated us with an upgrade. Honestly, there isn't much difference between the garden view and lake view rooms. In fact, the garden view room was closer to the elevator, which was even more convenient for our family with a baby. Facilities: The swimming pool is a bit on the small side, so we didn't end up using it. While there's a workshop-like activity for kids, the lack of a dedicated children's play area is a shame. However, the hotel grounds are quite spacious, and our baby was very happy running around. Cleanliness: This was truly excellent, 10086 out of 10! The breakfast selection was also extensive. We didn't try the other restaurants, so I can't comment on those.

The environment here is truly exceptional. It's right by the South Lake scenic area, and you can simply swipe your card to enter, which is incredibly convenient. The lake-view rooms offer a direct view of the island in the middle of the lake. They have a pool and a gym available. The breakfast selection is decent, and the lamb noodles are a specialty. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Jiaxing.

The hotel parking is convenient, with a dedicated underground car park! Overall, the stay was very comfortable, and the hotel views were also fantastic! The service was excellent, breakfast was plentiful, and afternoon tea was good too, but the children's activities were a bit lacking. It's right next to Nanhu Lake, with a small gate directly leading to the Nanhu walking path. A stroll around the lake is very pleasant! It would be even better if the small gate was more clearly marked! Ordering takeout is very convenient!
