"The property is perfect in terms of quality but accessibility it not convenient as you need to walk up several sets of stairs to enter the complex. Not ideal if you have heavy, cumbersome luggage. Having the facility to wash your clothes on site if a massive bonus and made it very convenient. Especially during my stay when it was hot, humid and severely raining. Overall I couldn’t not fault the location. Central to everything you want to see and do in Guangzhou. "Really great! The decor is quite new, and the front desk staff was super helpful, even giving me a free room upgrade. I slept incredibly well; I didn't hear any airplane noise throughout the night, so I got a really good sleep. Plus, there's breakfast in the morning and a shuttle to the airport every hour. "We visited Guangzhou at the very end of our two-week trip. We decided to really splurge and booked this hotel. Unfortunately, we didn't see in the hotel's terms that an astonishing 800 RMB was charged per day. This information shocked us at the front desk, especially considering how tired we were from our train journey. Thankfully, the young lady was accommodating and checked us in without a deposit. But the surprises didn't stop there. For such a room price, we expected more perks beyond just breakfast, a gym, and a pool.
Regrettably, the hotel tries to squeeze even more money out of you in every other aspect. In hotels with fewer stars, laundry is always free, and they'll even dry your clothes and deliver them to your room. Not here.
I wouldn't call these significant drawbacks, but it still left a bad taste, as you don't want to deal with anything extra at the end of a trip. A huge thank you to the cleaning lady on the ninth floor for her wonderful mood every day and incredible care. The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and stylish, and the room is superb. We also really enjoyed the pool and gym."

"The service was very attentive, and the breakfast was excellent. The elevators were super fast, and the hairdryer in the room worked great without damaging my hair. The washing machines and dryers were fully equipped, and there were many TV channels, including Hong Kong channels. The room had a view of the Canton Tower, thanks to the front desk upgrading my room. The scenery was beautiful, offering a view of the entire city of Guangzhou. "Our hotel room was spacious and quiet. The city views outside the windows were amazing for being on the 35th floor. The amenities in the room were a bit old but mostly clean, e.g. you can see water stains around the hinges and edges of the shower door glass; tv remote didn't work (probably with a flat battery), but we didn't bother to tell anyone for watching tv; bins with no bin liners which gave me hygienic concerns; there were tea bags hid in the drawer, but no milk provided.
The location was about 15 minutes drive to Canton Tower by Taxi. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby to choose from, not much shopping.
A positive to mention is that the reception let us check-in at 12pm instead of 2pm, with no fuss or additional charge. We were grateful, as we were exhausted after a long flight with early arrival, and we were already out on the street for 2 hours while waiting for the official check-in. The early check-in helped us to relax and settle.
We also accessed the children's soft play area and the outdoor pool. They were well maintained and big enough for an hour of play."

TThomas-JinjiangDue to work, I frequently transfer through Guangzhou Airport and have stayed at various hotels nearby, including Novotel, Wyndham, Home Inn Business, and Vienna Hotels. To be honest, I rarely review hotels because I simply don't have the time, and I don't really care for the points offered by Ctrip – they're meaningless. This was my first time staying at a Hampton by Hilton in Guangzhou. I have to say, the front desk service and room amenities were absolutely flawless, exceeding all expectations. Even Novotel's service and room facilities don't compare. Before checking in, the front desk added me on WeChat, asked about my needs and arrival time, and reserved a room. For a hotel at this price point, that's truly commendable. The room amenities were also impeccable; the color scheme was very youthful, and all facilities were user-friendly. Although I didn't use the refrigerator, having one at this price is a rare find. The toilet had a heated seat, the shower and water temperature were excellent, and even the shampoo, shower gel, and coffee were of good quality. The shuttle service, using business vans for both pick-up and drop-off, is also a rare luxury for a hotel in this price range. I don't consider myself a picky person. We're all just trying to make a living, so why make things difficult for each other? As long as a hotel meets a basic 60% standard, I'm usually happy. If I like it, I'll stay again; if not, I can't be bothered to leave a review, I'll just choose a different place next time. But here's the problem: why did I give the service a one-star rating, while everything else received full marks for being impeccable and exceeding expectations? It's because of the incredibly rude attitude of the airport pick-up driver. I can understand that people might be stressed, the weather might be bad, there could be traffic, or other reasons for being in a bad mood, but that's no excuse for how a customer is treated. If you don't want to do the job, you can choose not to; that's fine. But for a service industry, the driver is the first person to physically interact with the customer. The drop-off driver, on the other hand, was perfectly fine, at least above average. He helped with luggage and we had a pleasant chat in the car. This is precisely why I'm leaving a review on Ctrip, rather than contacting Hilton headquarters, Black Cat, or 12315. However, if I could rate the pick-up driver's service, I'd give it 0 stars. Due to bad weather in Guangzhou, my first flight was delayed, causing me to rush for my second flight, which I ultimately missed. Exhausted and hungry, I booked the hotel and called the front desk to inquire about the pick-up service. I left my number, the front desk contacted the driver, and the driver called me. I asked how long it would take, and he said at least 20 minutes. I told him we hadn't eaten yet and if it was going to be 20 minutes, we'd grab some food first and then call him. The driver agreed. After we finished a quick meal, I called the driver, who told me which gate to wait at. I'm not sure if I misheard or if the driver misspoke, but I understood it to be Gate 43. However, there's no Gate 43 at T3. So, I called the driver a second time to confirm if it was 43 or 63. He told me Gate 63. We then waited at Gate 63 for several minutes but didn't see the driver. Feeling very tired and wanting to get to the hotel as soon as possible, I called the driver a third time. My intention was to ask how much longer he would be, and if it was too long, we could just call our own taxi. I believe my tone in every call was very friendly, always starting with ”Hello, Master (Shi Fu)”. But this time, the driver eventually said, ”Don't keep calling me.” Excuse me, is your driver a mayor or a provincial governor? Is this how you treat customers? OK, I endured it, because I needed the driver to pick me up and take me to the hotel. When the car arrived, we had a lot of luggage. The driver initially didn't offer any help and stayed in the car. Only when the trunk wouldn't close did he get out, but even then, he didn't try to lend a hand or assist. We had to move all the luggage ourselves, coordinating with the driver. OK, I endured it. Then, once we were in the car and driving, the driver was either on a call or listening to a broadcast (speaking Cantonese, which I don't understand). My colleague and I were chatting very quietly, but the driver's external audio was at least louder than our conversation. Suddenly, the driver told us to quiet down. So, we became silent and didn't dare to speak. Later, after his call or broadcast ended, the driver played music that was at least louder than our previous conversation. Is it only permissible for officials to set fires, but not for the common people to light lamps? Or perhaps the driver thinks that only Cantonese-speaking customers are worthy of service, like some Hong Kongers who are unwelcoming to mainlanders, feeling a natural sense of superiority? In the car, I told my colleague that I would definitely complain. I don't expect your service to be amazing, because I won't be paying tips like foreigners, but you can't be so outrageous. I don't know if this driver is related to the boss or manager, but I don't need to tolerate this. In the service industry, one weak link can truly ruin everything. I will continue to choose Hampton or Hilton hotels in other locations, but frankly, I will most likely not stay at this particular hotel a second time. No one likes to feel unwelcome, and it's a terrible feeling, so I choose to avoid it.

The service is impeccable; every staff member is friendly and attentive. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful, and the location is superb. The spatial design is miles ahead, on par with the Peninsula Shanghai, and incredibly user-friendly. The gym is huge and fully equipped; I didn't get a chance to use the pool. The lobby bar is a very comfortable spot to relax. All the staff are cheerful, and the service is incredibly attentive – plus, all the ladies are beautiful! Breakfast and the Guang Yu Xuan restaurant are up to the standard of a luxury hotel. Overall, the the hardware is superb, truly top-tier in China. The service has that distinctive Rosewood elegance, and the food is standard, nothing particularly outstanding.

You've got Panyu Wanda Plaza, Sihai City, and Tianhe City right nearby, and getting around is super convenient. The metro station is less than a 15-minute walk away! It was lovely to take a stroll around the area after dinner each night. The hotel is located in a separate apartment building, and from the high floors, you can enjoy views of the commercial district below. The only downside is that the internet signal was really poor, whether for screen mirroring or the TV. On the bright side, the staff were very friendly and always ready to help!

The front desk was very efficient with check-in, and the staff, especially Yuti, were all very welcoming. The hotel has ample parking on floors B1 and B2. The room was cleaned meticulously, the bedding had no strange odors, and the mattress was just the right firmness. Hot water was consistent, and the toiletries were of good quality. The location is super convenient for getting around, with a convenience store and many restaurants right downstairs – perfect for dining and shopping without going far. Plus, the hotel's F&B is excellent, including afternoon tea, breakfast, and even a late-night snack. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area. The rooms are spacious, and the location is fantastic, very convenient for transport, with Guangzhou East Station directly opposite. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, very satisfied!

The manager and front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. The hotel also offers luggage storage, which is a thoughtful service, allowing us to explore further without our bags.

GGuest UserThe place is clean, front desk made their best to communicate with us. My kids really enjoy staying there. They were so sad while leaving. The place is very spacious for a big family of 5. The view was everything. The canton tower was just at my bedroom balcony. The night view was amazing.The security was a plus. They offer a variety of food for breakfast and really cheap per person. You can find your way around easily. I will live there again and again. I really recommend that place.

AAnonymous UserI was extremely satisfied with my overall stay at this hotel, it definitely deserves a five-star rating. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's very close to Pazhou, near Keyun Road metro station, just an 8-minute walk away, and there's a bus stop right downstairs. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. In the evenings, you can even take a walk along the Pearl River to enjoy the river views. The room decor is tasteful and elegant, with a modern minimalist style that still feels cozy. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the cleaning was very thorough, ensuring a neat and clean environment. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the chef enthusiastically recommended dishes, which showed great care. The heated pool wasn't crowded, making for a very comfortable night swim. The hotel's location, room facilities, and hygiene standards all exceeded my expectations, offering excellent value for money. I will definitely choose to stay at the East Stanton Hotel again on my next visit to Guangzhou.

AAnonymous UserThere was renovation work going on in a building right next to the hotel, and I was given a room right beside where the work was taking place. This situation was not mentioned to me by the reception. However, after a long journey, I had chosen to stay here to rest.
The breakfast was good, the cleanliness was good, and the room was spacious and nice. For its price, it is actually a very good hotel.
My only misfortune was that there was renovation work right next to the hotel, and the room I was given was located right beside this work.
