But I found and minus:
1. No ramp in the entrance. And with heavy bags it is very difficult.
2. No slippers in the room.
3. No clock in the front of reception."

"Quite remote from the Duomo and the train station but within walking distance from metro. Very clean and the cabin with curtain provides you with privacy. But no stable hot water and the shower cubicle was quite small. The reception and entrance was situated at the basement so have to walk the stairs. I was carrying a heavy suitcase and asked if I can use the G/F exit to spare myself from the heavy lifting. But the staff said no."

"Comfortable and clean hotel with a fresh and modern reception area. Provides free luggage storage after checkout for the rest of the day in case you have a later journey elsewhere. The standard double room was very spacious, although perhaps could use more lights as it would be a bit dark even with all the lights turned on.
My main complaint would be the location; there is no train/metro station near the hotel and you need to take a local bus to the metro station - the problem is that the nearest bus stop is about 10-15 minutes walk away which adds a lot of time to an already long journey if you wish to go to central Milan (total time with walking is around 50-60 minutes).
Tip: You can take a 3 minute Lime scooter between the hotel and the bus stop, and vice versa, which will save you about 10 minutes walking each time"

The ibis Milano Centro is just a few steps from the Central Station and the Piazza Repubblica metro. Close to the historic center and Porta Venezia area, it is only 2 km from the Duomo and can be reached by public transport or by a vehicle that can circulate in area B. The hotel has a paid limited car park, business rooms, gym, bar and a restaurant where you can taste aperitifs and excellent dishes.
"Good option to stay if the price offer is attractive. Location is convenient and the beds are comfortable. But the room is very tiny, both suitcases should be kept only up, otherwise you cannnot walk in the room. The pillows are not comfortable. There was very cold in the room near the window and old air conditioning did not help much to mitigate this. The making up the room one day surprised us very negatively, the sample of the face oil was (kind of not cheap one) left by the maid upside down and almost all oil was on the dusty table in the toilet when we came back. I would strongly recommend the staff not to touch the clients’ belongings and definitely do not cause such loss. So improvements in the service are really expected if we are going to stay here again."

"During the Milan Design Week, this hotel is really expensive at more than 2,000 per night, but I had to bite the bullet and book it. When I checked in, I really felt that the room was spacious and clean. Although the facilities were old, they did not affect the use. It is not far from Milan Xiaolongkan.
There is no free water. The front desk is friendly. The room service auntie does not speak English, but only Italian and Spanish, which is a bit reckless."

"Location is a bit challenging since you need to combine metro+bus to the center and back but it was included as the price advantage compared to other locations. Taksi to the center is 15 minutes about 20-25 Euro as well which is not a big issue especially for 2-4 people stays. Enjoy🙋🏻♂️"

We ordered a take away and needed a plate…. No plates aloud to be given 🤦♀️….
1st room was floor 8! And it’s was adequate and pretty miserable in there so we requested a change which was floor 7 and it was pretty nice! It’s a quiet hotel!
If you can walk 10 minutes it’s that long to the metro but the metro gets you everywhere with a city pass"

FfanqiA fantastic hostel! They offer 24-hour check-in service, and even though I arrived in the middle of the night, the staff warmly welcomed me, showed me around the facilities, and even offered me a welcome drink! The next day, I could store my luggage for free, and the staff kindly made me an espresso to start my morning.
At noon, I had a small issue—my sandwich in the shared fridge was accidentally taken by someone. I tell this to the front desk, and coincidentally, the owner was there. She was incredibly thoughtful and even offered to have the kitchen make me a toast! Amazing customer service and problem-solving mindset!
Next time I visit Milan, I’ll stay at Ostello Bello - Milano Duomo again.

Hehe~ The hotel we stayed in this time was also very good. It was the Giulia Hotel next to the Milan Cathedral. I communicated with the hotel before checking in. My wife and I had a honeymoon trip~ The hotel gave us a honeymoon decoration, which was very warm and homey. The overall room was very good. The cathedral was next to it (although you can't see it haha). The room was also upgraded. It was a very, very good place. The guy at the front desk of the hotel also spoke Chinese. After chatting with him for a while, I found out that he was studying abroad at Zhejiang University. No wonder his Chinese was so good! In general, it was very, very good! The Italian trip is over! I want to come again next time, and I will stay here next time🇮🇹

LLenaKasselThis was just an amazing hotel! We were incredibly pleased! The case when we liked everything! The food in the restaurant was delicious, the rooms were beautifully decorated. Everything was clean, fresh and new! What was especially pleasing: shampoo, shower gel, body cream, soap were organically certified (Cosmos Organic), and in our time it is especially valuable to find cosmetics in hotels without aggressive additives, this is very captivating. We didn't even have to get out our jars of cosmetics. I wish this hotel further prosperity!

MMilanguowangWhen there is an exhibition in Milan, the price of downtown hotels basically doubles or triples, and it is very likely that you can't book it. Although this hotel looks a bit far from the main city on the map, it only takes 15-20 minutes to walk from the M4, and you can also enjoy the life style of the real residential areas around Milan along the way. The hotel is newly renovated at first glance, the rooms are not only large, but also the facilities are all the latest, and the buffet breakfast is very, very delicious!!!

GGuest UserThe property is nice and located a bit outside the city center, but transportation is easy to find. Unfortunately, our first night was disappointing. We had booked a Premium apartment with a balcony and a bathtub, expecting a queen-size bed as we were a couple. However, we were given a room with two single beds and no bathtub.
When I requested a room change, the receptionist informed me that it wasn’t possible that night and couldn’t guarantee a proper room for the following days. Surprisingly, he mentioned that having a bathtub is optional—even if you pay for a room with one—which felt misleading. To make matters worse, the room we received smelled slightly of moisture.
Thankfully, the next day, a new receptionist was very helpful and quickly resolved the issue, moving us to the Premium apartment we had initially expected. This room was fantastic, with a lovely view of the garden and swimming pool.
Despite the rocky start, the rest of our stay was enjoyable, and the staff were attentive and helpful after the initial hiccup.

My dialogue began at dawn, chasing the first honeyed light spilling across the Piazza Navona. Alone, you move differently. Unburdened by consensus or compromise, I followed whims: detouring down a cobbled *vicolo* heavy with the scent of baking cornetti, drawn by the sudden, breathtaking reveal of the Trevi Fountain, still relatively quiet. Tossing my coin wasn’t just a tourist ritual; it was a whispered promise to the city, a silent pact sealed in the cool morning air and the fountain’s roaring majesty. Solitude amplifies these moments – the crisp *click* of your heels on ancient stone, the unfiltered awe as Bernini’s marble figures seem to surge from the water, frozen in divine drama. No commentary needed, no shared speculation required. Here, amid the ghosts of senators and centurions, the silence isn’t empty; it’s resonant. You feel the centuries compress. A stray cat sunning itself on Julius Caesar’s altar becomes a perfect, poignant metaphor for time’s relentless, indifferent march. The Colosseum looms nearby, its brutal grandeur undeniable. Observing it solo, you feel its dual nature more acutely – the awe-inspiring engineering marvel and the chilling echo of spectated suffering. It prompts introspection, a quiet contemplation on humanity’s enduring contradictions, impossible amidst a crowd’s chatter.
Then, the Pantheon. Stepping inside is like walking into the mind of God, conceived by mortals.
