This homestay was recommended by a friend. The owner was very warm and friendly. He carried our luggage upstairs as soon as we arrived. The courtyard was very cozy. As soon as the window of the room was opened, we could see the Potala Palace. It felt great. We could also take a reverse photo of the Potala Palace from the rooftop, which was very impressive. The B&B also has free self-service laundry. During my stay, I saw many repeat customers. I recommend it!

The experience of staying in this hotel is amazing! As soon as I entered the door, the front desk staff was enthusiastic and professional, the check-in procedure was quick, and they also introduced the surrounding fun places. The room was clean and tidy, the layout was very warm, the bedding was comfortable, and I had a super good sleep. This is a very Tibetan-style hotel, clean, tidy, peaceful and prosperous, and it’s easy to get there.
It's close to Barkhor Street and it was a very good experience. We stayed in the hotel for 3 days.
The boss and staff are also very nice. They helped us carry our big luggage to the 3rd floor. Thank you boss.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel I must write one this time. Gesanghua Hotel has a beautiful and kind proprietress. She is quite young, thoughtful, warm and patient. We just arrived in Lhasa and were not very familiar with the itinerary. Later, we consulted the proprietress to avoid falling into the trap. You can also ask the proprietress to help buy performance tickets and travel packages. There are many discounts after comparison. I am also very satisfied with the arranged room. It is square, clean, with a humidifier, oxygen concentrator, and air conditioner. Every morning, the bright sunshine will shine into the room, making the cool morning warm all of a sudden. Living in a sunny room makes my altitude sickness much better.
The location of the hotel is also very good👍 It is convenient to go out for transportation. It takes a few minutes to walk to Jokhang City, Barkhor Street, and Jokhang Temple. It only takes 10 yuan to take Didi to the Potala Palace.
Warm service, clean room, convenient transportation, we will definitely stay in Gesanghua again next time.

This is by a long way the best hotel I have stayed in , in Tibet. Love the ”Manor” feel, at the same time homely.
The rose garden which decorates Lakari cafe ia a lovely place to eat, relax, wind down. Food & service excellent. There are in addition two other restaurant on site, serving authentic Chinese & Tibetian food, yum. DURING a qord in the garden, I notice birds churping and hunting worms on the lawn !
Rooms takes on a modern Tibetian style, everything works & impeccably clean.
Staff are v warm, helpful, even helped w my washing, offered to show me around on her day off.
A most enjoyable stay. Tops all otherss I have stayed in Tibet.

The experience at Shangri-La Hotel, Lhasa is very good. As soon as I entered the room, I saw fruits on the table; there were also desserts, which were served in a special basin. It was very special. It should be the item written in the set meal called Xiangyu Welcome Gift. The room was comfortable, spacious and very clean! The large floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides let in plenty of light and are very comfortable! The room was upgraded and one of the windows had a view of the Potala Palace, which was very nice! The bathroom is also very large, with dry and wet areas separated! The hotel's buffet dinner and breakfast are delicious; there is a wide variety of food and the restaurant waiters are friendly and polite. The hotel service is very good; the front desk staff is very good, especially Cooper and Ashley are friendly and polite, and they are very patient to listen to our inquiries and help us deal with them! The hotel is close to the Tibet Museum, and it is very convenient to visit the museum! I will definitely stay here again when I come to Lhasa in the future, and I will also recommend it to my friends in Hong Kong!

An excellent hotel in Lhasa. Located close to major site seeing spots around the city but still quiet and secluded enough for a relaxing stay (the hotel area is huge for Tibet!).
Was welcomed with traditional ******* decor with efficient and pleasant service from all hotel staff. The room is big, clean and equipped with a humidifier, oxygen concentrator and a Dyson hairdryer.
The breakfast buffet was pleasant with a small-sized a la carte dish for all guests to order from a menu. Food was decent with a mix of western, Chinese and Tibetian options

This is my sixth time in Lhasa. I compared several hotels before coming here and chose this hotel based on cost performance and comfort. The hotel did not disappoint me.
First of all, the hotel is in a great location, just across the road from the park behind the Potala Palace. You can see the Potala Palace from the room, and it's only a 10-minute walk away.
The hotel has its own parking lot, which makes parking convenient.
When you walk into the hotel lobby, there are free hot drinks of Rhodiola rosea and ginger tea. After drinking two cups, all the hardships you have experienced along the way to 318 are melted away.
Bai Ma, the receptionist, speaks softly and has a warm attitude. To be honest, the overall service industry in Lhasa is now at a higher level than that in the mainland.
Butlers will deliver guests and luggage to their rooms, and provide complimentary sweet tea and steam eye masks.
The room is equipped with floor heating, oxygen and humidifier, ensuring that tourists from all over the world can feel right at home. The window faces the back of the Potala Palace.
The breakfast in the observation restaurant on the 4th floor is rich and varied, with both meat and vegetarian options, and very little onion, ginger and garlic, taking into account the habits of each guest.

GGuest UserIt has been more than a month since I left Lhasa. I think of the days in Lhasa and the Fengma Feiyang Hostel where I stayed twice. It was a very friendly hostel. You can walk to the Jokhang Temple, the Ramoche Temple, Barkhor Street, and the Potala Palace. I will probably stay there again next time I go there.

⚠️Parking is not available near Barkhor Street. Self-driving vehicles need to park in the underground parking lot of the Federation of Trade Unions 500 meters away. Luggage can be unloaded at the fruit shop at the intersection. Hotel staff will help to pick up luggage.
