"One of the stops on the trip to southeastern Yunnan was Hekou Border Pass. I booked the newly opened Jianguo Hotel in Hekou through the Ctrip platform. It really did not disappoint. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the front desk manager Li Yang gave a warm welcome and responded to all reasonable requests. He provided With five-star service like a five-star hotel, people feel as warm as the weather in the river mouth! The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, the bedding is white and clean, and the breakfast is quite rich. The Chinese restaurant on the 27th floor has an elegant environment and a wide view, and you can see the sunset over the Vietnamese mountains opposite. Of course, the newly opened hotel in January 2025 will inevitably have some lingering decoration smell, but it is not as strong as expected. We also see the hotel's efforts to keep every room as ventilated as possible!"

"We stayed at the hotel only for 1 night and we believe it met the expectations. If you are looking for a place close to the border with Vietnam (walking distance), this is your place.
- Staff: Very nice and helpful people. We contacted them through WeChat in advance and they were very helpful in quick answering us;
- Room: Ok. This is an old building, with an old decor so don’t expect a 5 stars hotel room but it is spacious, with air conditioner and the bed sheets were clean.
- Location: Amazing, especially if you plan to cross the border to Vietnam. The hotel is 10min walking from to the main building.
If you are looking for a place to chill and relax, maybe you could find better options. However, if you are only looking for practical place to sleep for 1 night, it definitely does the job! 👌🏼"

It's a few kilometers away from the port, and luckily you can go shopping in the Vietnam Town next to it.

The hotel I stayed in was in a very good location, just 200 meters away from the port. It was very convenient to eat nearby. The room was large and the hardware facilities were complete. It is highly recommended to everyone to settle in. There are many taxis at the door, so it is convenient to return at any time.

GGuest UserThis time I had a great experience staying at Hekou Yujingtan Oriental Hotel, I have to give it a thumbs up! As soon as you enter the hotel lobby, you will find it spacious and bright, with an elegant and grand decoration style, which makes you feel happy instantly. The room gave me a big surprise. It was clean, tidy, warm and comfortable. I could fall asleep with the gentle breeze at night. The hotel's facilities are very complete, and all the fatigue of the day is dissipated. What impressed me most was the hotel's service. From the warm reception at the front desk to the attentive cleaning of the guest rooms, every staff member is smiling and responsive. I accidentally left something behind, and the staff quickly contacted me and helped to keep it properly. Their service awareness is really amazing. The transportation around the hotel is also very convenient. The port is only two or three minutes' walk away, making travel convenient. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure trip, this hotel is an excellent choice and is recommended to friends who come to stay

HHertheTravelerThe hotel did the best that they could but unfortunately there was a bug problem and whenever I turned on the lights many bugs would land on the bed because they were attracted to the surface. The hotel changed my room but the same problem was there so I had to keep the lights off which was very inconvenient. The staff was very kind and I appreciate the efforts they made.

GGuest UserA taxi from the train station to the hotel costs 16 yuan. There are only offline taxis in Hekou. There are no Didi taxis or Gaode taxis available. Taxis are relatively standard. The hotel is very close to the old Hekou railway station and the customs. It is nearby There are restaurants, coffee shops, and Vietnamese specialty shops. It's not far from the commercial pedestrian street. You can get there within walking distance. The hotel is pretty clean. It's relatively large, has many rooms, and is air-conditioned. The front desk service is patient and responsible.

The services and facilities of the surrounding hotels of the same price are much better than this one. The service is not as good as before. The waiter's response speed is OK, but the attitude is always sullen. There are many people gathered in the lobby, standing or sitting, smoking, speaking the local dialect and chatting loudly. I have stayed in this hotel before and felt good, but this time the contrast is very big. I feel that the management and service are obviously not as good as before. I don't recommend it.

There is indeed a situation where the actual room and the picture do not match, but this price is completely understandable for this room, but I hope that the store will change the real hotel pictures on the linked pictures to avoid misleading. Overall, if you are traveling personally and the room conditions are not high, you can choose this one, and the requirements for the high occupancy conditions can be skipped.
