Hekou Port Homestay

The room was on the 6th floor, with an elevator, very convenient and direct access. The owner arranged a standard room, which was spacious and comfortable, without feeling oppressive. The window overlooks the logistics area, with frequent freight trucks traveling to and from the China-Vietnam border crossing. The windows are well-insulated, though, and as long as they're closed tightly, the soundproofing is excellent. The location is a bit out of the city, so for food, you'll need to go to the old town or Beishan, but it's not far away and can be reached by motorcycle. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

This is my worst stay experience. The hotel registration information is very different from the information introduced on the platform. The platform shows that it is a hotel in 2023, but it is actually a very old hotel. It doesn't matter whether the exterior is new or old, but the interior of the room is old, and the sanitary conditions are dirty, messy, and poor. The hotel's sound insulation is very poor. The hotel is right next to the main road. There are car sounds all night outside. The corridors in the hotel and the noises in the next room are so loud that I can't fall asleep at all. Because I believe the information and reviews on the platform, I checked in without going to the room first, otherwise I would cancel directly. I have never given a bad review. This is the only time. I don't know how the hotel got a score of 4.9, which makes me very confused. Writing this review is a true reflection of the situation to provide some reference opinions for the guests behind.

Absolutely! Because it was the Spring Festival, they dared to sell it for nearly 200 yuan, which is usually several dozen yuan. The bed sheets and quilts had black spots on them, and the pillowcases were yellow and very old. In the end, I slept on a bath towel that looked new. I didn't take off my clothes all night. Someone had smoked in the room before, and the shower facilities were also very poor. The whole room smelled musty, and the air conditioner didn't work at all. I was speechless.

The hotel is a little far from the city center, and it is not very convenient to enter the city if you don't drive. The environment, sanitation and facilities are average.

Generally speaking, the attitude of the guesthouse is quite friendly. The road outside the door is difficult to find.
