Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort Reviews

Not a 4 stars anymore, the room smell bad specifically the bathroom and they can't do something about it, everything is old and borken. The sunbed on the beach of the hotel are charge 15 euro. The coktails at the bar are expensive and awful.

Nice hotel but only if you can get it around 250 euro per night - any more and it’s probably expensive for what it is but hey it’s Hvar and nothing is cheap The rooms are nice and AC works well The Breakfast is very good and Marko and his team really go above and beyond The location is excellent right on a little beach which is free but chairs need to be rented and a 10 min walk along the boardwalk to old town Now the bad The reception don’t really seem to care about the guest and are actually pretty rude Second day HK didn’t come when we asked reception we were told did we ask for HK ? Which was strange thing to say really when the day before we had it It then took hours to get the room cleaned and follow up visits for towels and soap On the last day we left our bags and arranged the free ferry pick up and drop bag service (which you don’t know about until you arrive) we asked what time would the bags leave so we can change first the said 3.30pm when we got back at 3 the bags were gone and they said sorry we were busy so we had to walk to the ferry in our swimwear as we planed to change It’s only a small matter but shows how they really don’t care and say what they like

Lovely hotel. We arrived out of season. It was very quiet but there was lots of staff

It was a reasonably good stay on Hvar but do be mindful of the numerous numbers of stairs to get to the hotel and anywhere else within it. The room was not the most spacious but still comfortable, only thing is we had to grapple with mosquitoes every night. Breakfast spread was excellent.

This review is for the Adriana Hvar Spa Hotel, the sister hotel to the Amfora. We visited at the end of the season and the Amfora closed early so our booking was moved. And we’re so glad it was. The Adriana is absolutely amazing. The sea view from the room was incredible. The rooftop pool and bar area are beautiful. And the breakfast was absolutely amazing - the very best hotel I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, 8 choices of milk, champagne and Belvedere vodka available for mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. No corners cut. Just absolutely superb - look no further than booking the Adriana!

The hotel room is a bit small. But it is close to the surrounding shopping streets. The coastal walk is beautiful.

A very well-located hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is old and in need of renovation. The shower head is broken. The water pressure in the taps is low. Too expensive for the quality.

We stayed in Hvar Island for one night and booked two sea view rooms. The hotel environment and service were very good, which added points to our trip. The hotel lobby and cafe face the sea view directly, and it is very comfortable to sit there and have a cup of coffee and rest. Because we arrived early, the waiter kindly cleaned a room for us to check in first, and the room also gave us handmade cookies. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the ferry terminal. The scenery along the way is so beautiful that we can't help but linger. Thank you for giving us a very good experience here

Very convenient location of the hotel, varied breakfasts, excellent pool area, beach nearby. I liked that the hotel staff carried and brought luggage to the ferry. You should choose rooms only with a sea view to avoid disappointment, as the view from the hotel to the sea is fantastic

It was the best accommodation. Kind and attentive. The bedding is clean and the view is amazing. Stay here when you come to Hvar Island. Highly recommended

The hotel room faces the sea, and you can watch the sunset. Parking is also very convenient, and it is also very pleasant to go to the surrounding towns along the way.

Good location, the kids want to stay for a few more days.
