It is absolutely a wise choice to stay at this hotel despite the higher hotel price. The location is close to the Tian Du Feng and the cable car if everyone is interested in climbing one of the peaks. The checkout time is 12pm so you will have enough time to shower and rest after coming back from the Tian Du Feng in the morning. Also you will get to avoid the crowd in the morning which is a huge bonus!! The service provided by the staff hotel is exceptional. The breakfast and dinner options are really good too. The amenities at the hotel might look a bit older compared to other hotels in the mountain however the room itself is very clean and tidy. I would recommend everyone to stay in this hotel.

Hotel is located just beside the welcoming pine, 500m away from Yuping Ropeway. Convenient but beware, the route is up stairs most of the way. Service was 100% and they even upgraded our rooms so that we were beside family. Do take take that food options are limited and expensive, which is expected for a place that has no direct car access. The only put off was the flies flying around the food at the restaurant.

Worth it for the sunrise

Wonderful location and services!

The hotel location was perfect for us, and we received great service from the hotel staff. The room we stayed in was dated but we got everything we needed for our stay. Overall it was a good experience.

Highly recommended for first time visitor to HuangShan because from the moment we stepped into the hotel, there is a personalised butler brief us on the attractions and what to do. In particular, he also help us to reserve the tickets to TienDuFeng天都峰。

Second time staying at this hotel. Come here for sunset and sunrise on Huangshan, which is ideal for winter visit because you can watch the sunset and sunrise (mountains might be blocking the view when the sun is rising but is still pretty nice) on the platform right in front of the hotel without any additional hiking at all

From a warm cup of ginger tea when we arrived, to allowing us to freshen up in a room after we had checked out, the service here was really good. Checking in with passports was easy. The room was comfortable, breakfast and dinner buffets had enough vegetarian options to be satisfying.

We have a wonderful stay in Youpinglou in our family trip in this recent June 2025. The hotel and room was very clean, the location is near the cable car station and the "welcoming pine tree", the staff was very attentive and informative. In the room they provide heater and to my surprise they provide jacket. This hotel is a good choice to stay in the top of Huangshan mountain. Tips: you can choose a 3 beds room, or a double plus single bed room for family.

Very nice hotel on the mountain, next time i will come back again and book this hotel. They have the best services.

A 3-generation family of 6 visited Huangshan for 3 days, Yupinlou was our 1st stop. Because of the weather, we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor as wishes, but we received very considerated services from the staff. The front desk ladies provided us with the best 3-bed family room and added the 4th bed to accommodate us without additional fee. My son didn’t feel well, their staff provided valuable assistance, especially gentleman 徐海忠 provided soft rice and followed us through departure. Appreciated.

Great hotel to stay on the top of the montains. very close to the cable car and the main attraction. Be awere, you still need to walk quite a few stairs. perfect location, 5 on 5. Entering the lobby, the hotel is clean and the reception was helpfull. They have a balcony for customer that has an amazing view. The hotel provided water bottles in the room. They also offer sunset tour. For the service, 5 on 5. their staff are nice ! For the price point (1500 rmb per night) this hotel doesn't meet the 5 stars criteria as requested by wechat for their review ;) .The room are small, outdated and humid making it hard to keep the chlothes dry. They provided a fan to help with the temperature, since there is no AC. The walls had stain on them as well as the carpet on the floor. for this reason, facilities gets a 3 out of 5. Once the cablecar close, your only food option for dinner is their buffet at 160 rmb per person. it's good. but lot's of flies around the food and tables. cleanliness could be improved. Overall it was a great experience..
