It was a pleasant stay, the location was convenient. The breakfast has limited vegetarian choices. The reception was helpful in booking taxi for us. Hualien has some good vegetarian cuisine choices within the city like Piatto which was very good.  we booked a private charter car to look around the places - we recommend booking these cars in advance. 

I like this hotel, really nice rooms, friendly staff, good location, and good breakfast. I will be back!

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The sauna in the bathroom is a pleasant surprise. The breakfast is very good.

The curtain in the bathroom couldn't cover the whole space, and it was a bit awkward because there were girls living with me. So we had to take a shower in batches and then go out for a while. The balcony space is nice, but smoking is prohibited. Smokers are not allowed to smoke on the balcony.

Check-in time at Hualien Haiyue Hotel is on Friday. The room rate for two people is NT$1,664. Afternoon tea is available if you arrive at 2pm. Accommodation is arranged on the fifth floor, and the sixth floor is a sunrise viewing platform. The room is opened with a key, without a chain. The space is spacious, about 26 square meters, and there is a spacious balcony (enclosed) for two people to rest comfortably. The wooden chairs are cushioned and comfortable to sit on. The balcony windows can be opened and the outdoor floor is clean, so you can wear slippers outside. The interior space is spacious, two suitcases can be opened at the same time, there is ample room for activities, and the hardware equipment is complete. The room is equipped with a large bed, which is clean and comfortable with bright windows and desks. RO water filter is available. You can boil water for drinking after filling it. You can also use the water dispenser in the corridor to fill your own cup. Afternoon tea snacks include Xiaomei ice cream, Italian coffee and desserts, and the rest space is comfortable. Breakfast is mainly Chinese style. There is ample parking space for motorcycles, which can accommodate at least a dozen motorcycles; there are about seven parking spaces for cars, which may be a bit crowded. shortcoming: * Toilet paper is difficult to remove * The bathtub is poorly lit and dark * The air conditioner is noisy and hard to ignore when sleeping, but it will not affect your sleep.

The environment is clean and the service staff is very friendly. The hotel also prepares coffee, tea, biscuits and ice cream for guests. The location is not far from Dongdaemun and comes with breakfast. It is a good value for money. I will stay here again next time I go to Hualien

The location is very good, with a private parking lot, and it takes 5 minutes to drive to the night market. This time I chose a room with a balcony, which has a lot of space and a separate wet and dry bathroom. The overall environment and price are OK. I think the buffet breakfast drinks need to be improved, but the service is OK.

The living facilities nearby are good. Hualien Port is in front of the hotel. It is not too far from the General's Mansion. It is recommended to walk there. It is also not too far to drive to Qixingtan. You can hear the sound of water when you use the restroom.
